StraightJ
One of the 2 or 3 reasons I came on here looking for was this, and only @daryls61 shout made any mention of it. I also am going to post an article about Diggs' response, if I can find it. I first want to note I had read multiple articles before it that made the shout of the daryls seem over the top(even if you are unfamiliar with his various levels of "pissed" from his shoutbox in game theatrics over the years, which I've noted the last couple few seasons have been relatively absent). Those articles left out the more critical words of Digg's reply(bleacher report, for example). Make note with this and the other article(if I can find it), this is a Bills EMPLOYEE. Unsure if that matters, or the fact that she is female, but even before Diggs' response it seems most organizations would not be pleased with this. If you look at the first 2 of 3 comments in the link provided, the rage and unfounded hatred is aimed at Diggs, not coming from him. Having watched videos of training camp and local TV crews detail the amount of ENERGY Diggs brings to the fans and how the worship him at a level surpassed only by Josh Allen himself possibly(and watching him interact, sign autographs). it's clear that these hateful comments were as my man Michael Jackson[pbuh] used to say, "ignorant". https://larrybrownsports.com/football/woman-talking-stefon-diggs-hot-mic/620593 #pounditFriday, September 15, 2023 Bills team reporter caught talking negatively about Stefon Diggs on hot mic September 13, 2023 by Larry Brown Read 3 Comments Dec 26, 2021; Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA; Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs (14) prior to a game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports Buffalo Bills team reporter Maddy Glab was caught on a hot mic talking about Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs ahead of a press conference in a video that circulated on Wednesday. The video in question showed the podium where Bills personnel speak with the media at their news conferences. A microphone with an NFL Network mic flag on it is shown, along with the Buffalo Bills background. Typically a player or coach will speak at the podium, but nobody was there, suggesting the hot-mic moment took place before or after a press conference. A few people were chit-chatting near the podium, and their conversation was picked up by a microphone. Glab seemed to say that somebody was trying to get Diggs, presumably for a press conference. Glab seemed to indicate she would not be able to get Diggs to come do the media appearance. “There’s no control over Stefon Diggs,” Glab said with a laugh. “Dude’s gonna do what he wants to do. He’ll look in my face and say F you. That’s how he treats everybody.” pic.twitter.com/y4UPblNvsp — . (@DodgeSuspension) September 13, 2023 The video emanated from an anonymous X account. The Bills shared on their X account and website videos of Josh Allen, Micah Hyde and Sean McDermott talking with the media Wednesday. This video may have come before Hyde’s appearance. Either way, Glab ended up apologizing after the video drew attention. I want to apologize for what I said today. pic.twitter.com/zLKBlGlunD — Maddy Glab (@MadGlab) September 13, 2023 Diggs is in his fourth season with the Bills. He had 10 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown in Monday night’s loss to the Jets. Despite putting up his best statistical seasons during his years with the Bills, Diggs did not seem happy with the team over the offseason. Quote Andy did you hear about this one?-REM . StraightJ
@DannyBoy, if this article is something you would have read without me tagging your name, I wanted to clarify the explanation of the acronym(which I do not recall seeing an article do before) was indeed in the article and not some attempt by me to alter it on your behalf. Maybe this site can be useful for that? I used to dislike them too, until @daryls61 schooled me up on them after I gave him a hard time on what I thought was a "BREAKING"(not knowing what ICYMI stood for). Now I find it useful, and occasionally use it myself. I think I originally made a typo with Maddy "Blab", but kind of like it. I don't want to demonize her personally, but now having seen Diggs' full reply(which several articles selectively edited), I fully support what he says about not wanting to deal with the media as a whole. Like many posters here(even worse in shoutbox), MG didn't expect to be called out on her flaming false statements. Good for Diggs, for being like Cole Beasley11 and not sitting idly by and letting people accept media falsehoods as unchallenged realities. I'm rather proud of my Adopt-a-Bills(other than maybe Wade's posing nude for a magazine in the UK lol), and may leave them there as long as @seandelevan's long term sig, which likely will mean until the inevitable internet false flag for which it's version of "Patriot Act" legislation is already written. Trust me, I do not want that to be correct any more than I suspect (most of) you do. (to be fare to staff, I want to point out the Wade pictorial was likely before he joined the Bills, so it's not likely a reason he was surprisingly not able to be made use of on a "cultural" basis, though from my memories of Sky Sports' reactions on here, I will not fully rule out his accent playing some part). The articles I read seemed to make an effort to make things smoother for the Bills employee, and if I recall correctly, one of these 2 did for the other Bills employee, Diggs. I'm still rather shocked people who like to denounce the Bills at every opportunity had not posted about this at all. lol. On my part, I was shocked to see the media finding a way to trash talk Diggs after I thought he had ededed the off-season BS by personally balling out on the field, AND finding a way to uplift Josh and his other offensive teammates prior to that clutch drive to get the game to OT. https://larrybrownsports.com/football/steon-diggs-response-maddy-glab-video/620628https://larrybrownsports.com/football/steon-diggs-response-maddy-glab-video/620628 #pounditThursday, September 14, 2023 Stefon Diggs issues response to Bills reporter’s viral video September 14, 2023 by Larry Brown Read Dec 26, 2021; Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA; Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs (14) prior to a game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports Stefon Diggs issued a statement via X on Thursday in response to the video of a team employee talking negatively about him that went viral a day earlier. Buffalo Bills team reporter Maddy Glab was caught on a hot mic saying that she would be unable to produce Diggs for a press conference (video here). “There’s no control over Stefon Diggs,” Glab said with a laugh. “Dude’s gonna do what he wants to do. He’ll look in my face and say F you. That’s how he treats everybody.” She later apologized in a statement posted to X. I want to apologize for what I said today. pic.twitter.com/zLKBlGlunD — Maddy Glab (@MadGlab) September 13, 2023 A day later, Diggs shared his response. “The audio shared was very hurtful. And was insulting to my character and to how I was raised. I’ve always treated people how I want to be treated. I greet everyone with smiles and respect. From the people in our cafe to the people that keep our building in clean & in order,” Diggs wrote. “The media or fans may confuse my competitiveness that they witness on the field as who I am as a person. But off the field Id (sic) never treat anyone how she described & have never said anything remotely close to that to her. “Idk why it was said, but this is an example of why people don’t want to deal with the media. It’s hard to fight the preconceived notions people have about you. Regardless of ever having a personal experience with them. We get you all have a job. And I respect it, but please remember I’m a human just like you. And if I ever made you or anyone else feel like you can’t approach me. I apologize,” Diggs said. “Idk” is an acronym for “I don’t know.” Glab wasn’t necessarily saying that Diggs is a bad guy, but she seemed to be illustrating the point that she would be unable to compel the wide receiver to come for a press conference. Diggs didn’t end up speaking to the media at the podium on Wednesday; only Josh Allen and Micah Hyde spoke from the podium after practice. Quote Andy did you hear about this one?-REM . StraightJ
By the way, for any old school members shaking their fists at acronyms or any slang(or pretentious industry jargon some shoutbox users print) you may be unfamiliar with, I'm thinking most Chromium-based and Mozilla-based browsers allow you to highlight things like that and the right-click and search them. Urbandictionary.com is also a great site for acronyms and other slang, as many acronym sites will list every obscure possibility known, and can be very tedious. Urbandictionary is also something that can be entertaining and have one possibly close to matching the skills of the daryls in a short amount of time. You can also partake in civic responsibility by up/downvoting definitions to make sure the best ones rise to the top. FWIW(chance to practice now, DB!), UD may (sadly) provide better context in some cases than wikipedia, whose own founder recently affirmed something anyone paying a slight bit of attention knew; that it was no longer neutral. The usual suspects control it too, and I'd post an example off the top of my head, but I\d prefer not to enrage it's main cheerleader who claims the end of your ignorance on terminology will by his logic lead to slaughter en masse. Thurmal
Diggs could've just let this minor thing go but instead, because he's a thin-skinned diva, he had to write out that woe-is-me response rather than just accept her apology and move on. And, or course, his brother is tweeting about how he has to get out of there (is it tampering when another player is constantly trying to recruit a guy under contract?). Kinda feels like this partnership has run its course.

Sucked In Again
I would have no problem if Maddy Blab suddenly gained employment at the local Dollar General.
