Pro Confederacy apologists are quick to point out that before the abolition of slavery in New York, some 13,000 people were held in bondage. However, the glaring problem in their claims that the North was just as racist as they were was that in the South 30 percent plus of the populace held slaves and in more than one state the number of slaves outnumbered the number of free so much like them, on this issue you are looking like you have a bad case of you do it too. . . .
