ICRockets2
1 hour ago, HipKat said: WTF? It's essentially what Karl Marx was saying all along: to the Capitalist, Labor is a resource. To the proletariat, it is an Immutable Characteristic. They're rarely THIS honest about it, but under Capitalism your success is measured not by revenue per se, but by profit. To win at Capitalism, you need your resources to cost less than you sell them for. Which means workers whose labor produces your product cannot possibly be paid their fair market value, because at that value the Capitalist makes no profit. That's called Exploitation of Labor. In the Marxian sense, there is not necessarily an inherent moralist argument to the term. We do personally believe it's often bad, yes, but the working class is Exploited from a Theoretical standpoint even in circumstances where no hostility or ill intent exists between boss and worker. No joke, I could talk to you about this topic for days and you'd agree with so much of what I have to say if we take it in the right order. I just don't know if I know the right order lol
micknaboz
Success in business is measured by profit!! What a concept. It's called capitalism. "You need your resources to cost less than you sell them for". Well duhhhhh!! Don't take this personally but imho you're not near as smart as you think you are, “The history of all hitherto existing societies is the history of class struggles” — meaning the problems in society were mainly because of money Quote [/img]
