Aaron Rodgers doesn't have that many 4th qtr comebacks

A more important stat would be how many times the team had the lead going into the 4th quarter and won the game.  I know we all love the comeback game but I've always maintained that if Jim Kelly started the game the Bills would have never needed the greatest comeback.

I wonder how many times it was Derek Carr's fault he was behind to begin with.

Maybe.  I don't know though.  Luv Ya Blue was just pasting Kelly and co in the dome.  I think we were so fortunate that in the early 90s the Oilers just could not keep a multiple possession lead in the post season to save their jobs.  It wasn't just the road at Mile High or at Rich, they went up by 10 against Kansas City in the Astrodome and even with that Buddy Ryan Defense they just could not keep a lead.  Most of that is because like our offense today, their run and shoot lacked a meaningful groundgame so when Moon started misfiring -something he did quite a bit- there was no run game to bail him out.

It wasn't talent that killed that team, it was coaching.  Talent wise, I think their 91 squad could have given the Redskins a fight to the finish in the Superbowl.   Hell, they took that team to overtime at RFK.  Coaching though, coaching sank that team year in and year out.  Its why I compare McDermott to Jack Pardee.  Pardee could take talent to the dance only to go 1-1 or 1 and done every single time.

A cliche that doesn't seem to apply anymore.

Unless you have standout stars. You get no where.

So you are saying stars … plural … so we agree

It was a collective term.

It's Brady, Brady Brady

Or Mahomes ,Mahomes ,Mahomes.

Sure, news mentions one or two other guys on the team, Kelce bla bla. Gronk bla bla

But the league sells the individual. Unless you have that individual. You get nothing.

Okay, still seems like a good guy. I don't watch wrestling.

Neither do I. But I'm starting to pay attention to the parallels.

Brock Lesnar lost some multi wrestler cage match or something ,early in match. Either the day before or a few days before Brock Purdy got injured in conference championship

It was Brady, Gronk, and for whatever seeming washed up running back Bellicheat breathed new life into.  It was also a pretty good defense most years.

Chiefs? Lets see what happens if you take away Kelce and that O line.

OK - should have posted this earlier dammit.

1) I don’t see 17,18,19,20 on that list.  I understand the screen shot thing.  Totally.

2) Brady - longevity in the league.  Nothing else other than that damn super bowel against Atlanta.

3) Where is Joe Montana?

4) Please correct me if I’m off my ass and missed something…

I combined 2 screen shots,Russell and bledsoe are the cut off.

I was only looking to bring attention to the guys I dotted as compare contrast. So probably a few in middle missing

Wow, Jim Kelly has as many comebacks as Rodgers but Kelly only did 10 seasons against Rodgers who played for almost 18 seasons this year. Rodgers only has one Lombardi and he'll wind up on the Jets just like Favre... a big fat nothing.
