Popular Post DannyBoy
Really? Grossly miscalculated? Why don't some of these idiot talking heads in the sports media really take a close look at all the issues before shooting their mouths off. He is big, tough and can drape himself over a running back but he seemed to "pick a gap" based on luck. He couldn't cover a TE or back on pass routes for the most part and then there is the 17 million thing. Tackling machines don’t get lost in the wash. Such an analogy seems perfectly suited to describe what’s playing out with the linebacker competition for the Buffalo Bills. Anyone paying close attention to the Bills through two NFL preseason games knows that the team is deficient at MIKE/SAM linebacker. As an organization under the direction of head coach Sean McDermott, One Bills Drive takes great pride in having proficient play at linebacker. In many circles, the players the front office chose as starters were once among the league’s best. Of course, ownership of such status was well earned, thanks to the constant that was Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds. But 2023 is a different story. The Buffalo Bills grossly miscalculated the loss of Tremaine Edmunds (msn.com) 1

rcas0308
Edmunds stunk against the run and wasn't good in man coverage either. Sure he knew the Defense and called in the plays. Not a big deal once things come together
Popular Post SackMan518
This Matt Byham guy has no clue about the Buffalo Bills and tying up all that money for Edmunds who will not live up to that contract. He plays like Jane but looks like Tarzan, that's the deal on Edmunds. Have fun in Chicago! 1 2 Quote Sack "The Buffalo Range's TRUSTED News Source!" “When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.” ~ Dresden James Twitter: Zack518Mann

Confused here… Also - I love it when cheesy movies get quoted and people don’t give the proper credit. BTW - I do love that movie but it IS cheesy as hell…
Popular Post Herodotus
I took delight in Edmunds being such a liability for the Bears yesterday. He's the Jeff George of Middle Linebackers. Unbelievable physical talent, way too little between the ears to be a top shelf linebacker. 2

mikgaes
Edmunds is the most over-rated MLB I ever remember the Bills ever having on their roster. Hope the door didn't hit him on the ass on his way outta town. Good fucking riddance. Chicago was the team that made the mistake. But good for the Bills dumping his ass.
Victor7
Lol at the hate. Have you seen Dodson? Edmunds wasn't exactly carving out a HOF career but some people act like he was playing on crutches out there. Ridiculous. And btw I understand why he had to not be resigned. This isn't a complain. Quote Bills fan for life!! ................ Psycho79
Edmunds is the only hard to replace player I can think of that Buffalo allowed to leave in free agency. They’ve been great at retaining talent otherwise. Matt Milano is one of those players who stayed with the Bills when he could have gotten more money elsewhere. Edmunds wanted the big payday and the Bills apparently didn’t think he was worth the cap space. Fans who weren’t big on Edmunds should give Buffalo’s front office credit for that. I’m sure they would have kept him if we were willing to sign a team friendly contract. The Bears will likely continue to be mediocre.
