12, even better, although I wouldn’t want it much bigger.  I don’t want this to turn into NCAA basketball tournaments size.

IMO a lower division team would have to go undefeated to get in.

24-team

Currently the FCS uses a 24-team playoff bracket in which the top eight teams receive first round byes. Those eight seeded teams are also guaranteed at least one home playoff game.May 12, 2023

SOURCES: Michigan to self-impose three-game suspension for Jim Harbaugh - Maize&BlueReview (rivals.com)

The first 3 games on Michigan's schedule are East Carolina, UNLV, and Bowling Green. My dog could coach Michigan to a 3-0 start with that schedule. Jim will return against another "tough" opponent when they take on Rutgers.

Rutgers. Known as the birthplace of college football

I didn't know that. Usually, they don't have very good teams.

Pendulum has to swing at some point

It should, and you'd think that it would, but it just doesn't. Maybe what they need to do is make sure everybody playing division one football is eligible is eligible to suit up. To much money involved to do that.

I remember that game, swivel hips McGronski had a field day against the Princeton defense. Ran for 318 yards, 5 TD's and only lost 2 teeth.
