Or being a head coach 365 days a year, including OTAs, training camp, preseason and all week to week practices? Based on the last 10 head coaches the Buffalo Bills have had, I will take McDermott hands down. And now that he politely moved Leslie Frazier out of the way, our Game Day Defense should be better. Very tiny sample size but i do recall when he "benched" Frazier in the Chargers game i believe it was and took over...vast difference...

It's like they own the patent on all the stealing defeat, from the jaws of victory games, because we've witnessed more than our share. And just for the record, Hail Murray was an incomplete pass that they never reviewed. Just another Bill's thing ... 2

Oh I’ve said it before…McDermott is elite at building a program. He was the perfect fit at the perfect time for this team. He took Rex Ryan’s guys to the playoffs that first year. Monday thru Sat I think he’s elite. But game day management? It gets worse by the year and now that he’s adding more to his plate? Jesus Christ it might be a train wreck. I hope not but this dude hasn’t proven to me that he can do it.

I remembered my buddy who is a Packer fan being absolutely devastated and crushed when the Fail Mary happened a few years ago. He just kept going on and on about how gut wrenching and soul crushing that loss was. And how the Packers are cursed and everyone was out to get them….I just kept looking at him, unphased, head tilted slightly, giving him the ‘you gotta be fucking kidding’ look. The Browns and maybe the Chargers are the only two franchises in the NFL that could give the Bills a run for their money for being “cursed” or having “bad luck”. Everyone else can just go fuck themselves.

I’ve said from McClappy’s first season, he’s a good Monday-Saturday coach (this is back when the Bills always played on Sunday)… Gameday? Not so much. The bar is pretty low with the last 10 HCs. The Bills past history with coaches is one of the reasons I’m not calling for his head. SM is a playoff coach. That’s his ceiling. Is that enough? Am I in a hurry to find the next Dick Jauron? That’s where I’m at. Quote Ed Oliver is my adopt-a-Bill
