Hard Not to Disagree…

What pressure? The Jets and Dolphins are markedly better, we went offense heavy in the draft and will be taking a big step back.  I am already writing this year off.  There is literally no pressure because this year and probably next are all about remaining somewhat competitive until we are done retooling.  They did everything they needed as far as personnel in the off season and so now its all about putting it all together.

The bills make the playoffs. Whether they have the fire power or defense to compete with other playoff teams is another story. The pressure is on to not waste Allen's prime.

OL is better. Whether its enough we'll find out.

RB position is better. They have 2 guys who are proven players between the tackles.

WR room is marginally better. Harty is a legit upgrade over McKenzie. Gabe is going to need to ball out if he wants a fat contract. Shakir should show improvement. Kincaid will mostly be a receiver so he should be included here. The media narrative is that he will offer Allen more easy button chances. I think it's possible, but I'm not counting on it.

TE room is better with kincaid, but kincaid is not an inline blocker. I would be nice if they didn't have to still use a 6th OL all the time.

DT Ford was a solid pick up. This unit needs to stay healthy if the defense wants to be good. Oliver is going to want to get paid, so he needs to ball out.

DE hopefully miller doesn't miss more than 6 games. Until he gets back the pass rush will be ass. Unless they can catch lightning in a bottle with Ray, or they sign a vet pass rusher. Groot needs to take another step as a pass rusher IMO.

LB big question marks here. Hopefully a change in scheme can hide some deficiencies. Hopefully the unit comes together by mid season. I think they are going to play an important part of the pass rush as blitzers early in the season.

CB if Tre is back to pro bowl/ all pro level, this position group is strong. They have great depth.

S Hopefully poyer and Hyde can stay healthy. Rapp provides poyer insurance and some scheme versatility. This is a strong group.

The team is better than last year.. whether they did enough to keep up with the rest of the AFC is the question.

How about coaching? Is McDermott going to be outcoached yet again by the Big Dawgs of the NFL?

I think mcdermott is above average. It definitely helps in today's NFL to have an offensive minded head coach, so thats not good.. I wonder how much of his duties as HC will be delegated on game day. He'll have a lot on his plate I'm sure. I think he needs to let more of his draft picks play to see what they have instead of relying so heavily on over the hill vets.

Only the weak are afraid of pressure. Winners thrive off it so no surprise range loser @seandelevan is afraid of pressure.

just posting an interesting topic I saw. Create discussions, dialogue, and debate.

And then there’s you…whose only purpose is to nitpick every little thing I do and put words in my mouth.

In your own words - hard not to disagree - so you didn't just post something, you agreed with it. Not surprised you are afraid of pressure though.

“Wide right” has that crown! But “13 seconds” is a close second.. 🤦‍♂️😔

Wide right is the most painful because it happened in the Super Bowl. But in Norwood's defense the kick wasn't a gimme. It was a 48 yarder. Makeable sure but not a chip shot either. 13 seconds is Moe, Larry, Curly defense. How the fuck do you let the Chiefs get into FG range when they are starting at their own 25. Another honorable mention is MCM.

It was a 47 yarder, it missed by a foot, it was make it and it’s a Lombardi! 13 seconds wasn’t even in the AFCC game, so there would have been 2 games left to accomplish the ultimate goal. I suppose the generation “gap” between the 2 may change the relevance for some fans 🤷‍♂️!?

There should be no argument Wide Right is the worst moment, followed very closely by “13 seconds” and “The Music city miracle”.

Agree 100%. Wide right is the worst loss. AINEC.

As painful as 13 seconds was it really doesn’t hold a candle to Wide Right and the MCM. The wounds created by Wide Right and MCM (and other massive choke jobs over the years) really left me un phased by 13 seconds.

A mere 10 seconds after the Davis TD I was already warning everyone one in the room there was still plenty of time left but was laughed at and told ‘no there wasn’t’ by folks too young to remember previous disasters.

I was halfway telling the MCM story by the time the chiefs were already in field goal range. Whatever. I think I laughed maniacally when the Chiefs won. “Saw this coming a mile away” I kept saying afterwards.

I’m a skeptic with everything🤔🤷‍♂️, the Bills aren’t an exception! Obviously there have been a few times where the expectations weren’t tempered, that doesn’t happen anymore (for me), that’s for sure!!

You can be a Defensive-minded HC is you have an OC that can be left alone with the offense. I have ZERO faith in ours

I was in college dring 25 and watched the game with my buddy who was a giants fan. It sucked to get so close but we had such a good team I figured we would be back and get one.... #1 worst moment as a Buffalo fan.

Watched no goal at home and after Dallas scored, I just slumped in my chair and then hockey hotline got wind of the skate in the crase. Didn't sleep all night and called in to work the next day. #2 worst moment as a Buffalo fan. No assurance Sabres win game 7.

Watched MCM by myself in my apartment in Rochester. Remember being jacked all week when RJ was announced as starter. Flutie and offense had been sluggish in 2nd half of season and RJ was a monster in last game. In all fairness, he left the game a winner. I literally could not believe what I witnessed when Titians scored. It was so close there is no way it could be overturned. Sucks cause Bills had elite defense and RJ was cooking with Moulds and Price. #3 worst moment as Bills fan.

Watched Bills last bowl both at work and at bar. Left work at halftime stoked we were up. Buddies had a table with seats for us late arrivers. Then I watched all slip away. I have no idea what changed in 2nd half but what a shit show. I was again left wondering what could have been. #4 worst moment as a Bills fan.

I honestly can't wrap my head around 13 seconds. An epic fail from top to bottom. No squib kick or pooch kick. I believe they wanted to do that but Bass Pro didn't get the memo. Then the screen pass which was a great call against the extremely soft defense we played. Seemed like Bills didn't know KC had 3 TO's. Then the next pass to Kelce who seemed to scream out what the play was going to be and no Bills defender adjusted. I was honestly like, what are they doing?  I blame the coaches for not understanding the situation and the players for not adjusting no matter what the coaches told them to do. #5 worst moment as a Bills fan. No assurances Bills beat Bungles the following week. Hell, they beat the Chiefs at home.

So is there pressure on Bills, sure. Winners shine under pressure while losers crumble. Lets see which ones Bills will be. No one can predict the future. Can't wait for it to unfold. LFG!
