f8ta1ity54
Any store that sells kid's sized "I <3 Jesus" shirts supports religious indoctrination. I dont feel the need to go on social media to complain about, I just won't shop there. It's called being a functioning adult. Don't like queer shit in box stores? DONT GO THERE.
SackMan518
I still can't figure out why the LGTBQ+ advocates really, really want to tell young children about this stuff, why? They are too immature and not ready for these issues yet and they will learn about it in their own timeline. My pre-teen son does ask me about things but usually from info from YouTube, kids at school, etc and he doesn't quite understand it. I try to be less serious about it but I do tell him there are scientific facts that will never change no matter what but that people can live their choices that they should keep in their own purview. My son asked me if I would love him even if he ever was gay I told him, "Of course I would love him no matter what." It's against the sin, but not against the person, each day we try to fight against the flesh and strive for the spirit. Try to be the best person, everyone. 1 Quote Sack "The Buffalo Range's TRUSTED News Source!" “When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.” ~ Dresden James Twitter: Zack518Mann

When is a child old enough to understand eternal damnation? If parents want to buy pro-LGBTQ apparel, what's wrong with that? All I hear about from the right is personal freedom and parental rights. But it seems to only be the case when it's something the right supports.

Makes perfect sense as to why the GOP is trying to remove black history, LGBTQ education, and add Christianity back into schools. The right has no problem with indoctrination as long as it's their form of indoctrination. 1 1

Of course. I'm not them so don't talk about them as if I were them. You can hear my own words here. So is a parent deciding to buy their kid a shirt with a rainbow on it and teaching them about LGBTQ people. There we have it! A break through! Teaching kids to accept a skyman uncritically is indoctrination by definition. Teaching kids that it's okay to be gay and accept LGBTQ people is what is best for society. It's Anti-discrimination education. Right wingers just don't like it. Teach your kids what you want, we'll teach our kids what we want. But, we live in a secular society, so you're going to have to accept the fact that there will be LGBTQ education in school. Don't like it, notify the school you will abstain your child from some lessons OR pull them out of school. No one needs to bow to your delusions because it makes you feel better.

If you use terms like "skyman" you will be seen as unserious and look uneducated so you won't find any insignificant debates from me. It just makes you look dumb. You are swapping your own indoctrination for a secular vs a spiritual worldview and hold a weight that is higher in importance but without a good enough reason. You eschew the spiritual world while hold only the material view and only leave half of it. I can't take you serious. I can choose not to accept your views without it being anti-discrimination. I just don't accept it. 2 Quote Sack "The Buffalo Range's TRUSTED News Source!" “When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.” ~ Dresden James Twitter: Zack518Mann

A secular education doesn't teach you to believe things uncritically, which is EXACTLY WHAT RELIGION IS. I put a higher weight on what can be measured and observed. LGBTQ people EXIST. Why should I give two fucks about unfalsifiable beliefs? Why should unfalsifiable beliefs that are DISCRIMINATORY hold the same weight as an education based on logic and reason? 21 minutes ago, SackMan518 said: You eschew the spiritual world while hold only the material view and only leave half of it. Can you prove I don't have a floating, red, invisible dragon in my garage? He says that catholics and Christians are animals that should be exterminated. Does that have equal footing now?
