Obviously a bitter hacker.

There's nothing stopping world class athletes from playing golf.

Josh Allen was at the tournament all four days.

Golf is the one game virtually ALL famous athletes play and 99+% of them suck.

Why?

It's a relaxing recreation for those athletes.

There aren't 50,000 people screaming in their faces when they play, and... most of all.....

they can afford it.

In America, of course.

Lots of famous golfers had working class backgrounds.

Golf is an elitist sport.

You have to pay for clubs and course time.

Keeps out the riff raff/Sarcasm

Public courses exist and for a very low price you can rent clubs and shoes and reserve a tee time.

Low to who? No, the point is you're still paying a good amount to play. still renting or buying clubs.

There are stores all over the place that sell used clubs that are perfectly fine for a fraction of the cost.

Golf clubs are like cars.

It's a waste of money to buy new.

That's all well and good but it still costs money alot don't have and there still are hardly any golf courses and tennis courts in black neighborhoods.

They are unicorns and puppets. Not trend setters

Football is by far the most interesting to watch in the US. As for actual participation... I'd say golf and bass fishing rule the roost. Bass fishing is just as much a "sport" as golf is. Don't go there.

If anything, it would be considered sexist. GOLF originally meant... Gentleman Only Ladies Forbidden.

I'm getting the feeling I'm the only guy here that can actually play the game.

I can play it not to well but I can.  I can reserve my tee time at any public course and rent clubs for about 200.  That really isn't too bad and one can buy yearly passes for under 500.  So yeah its fairly affordable.
