Leaving Aside Race, Gender and Sexual Orientation, If You Dislike Persons from a Specific Country for Well Thought Reasons is that Xenophobia?

Seems to me that Xenophobia is the fear or hatred of ALL persons one perceives as strangers or foreigners.

What if you simply dislikes on average persons originating from only ONE country?

I realize it is lazy stereotyping and unChristian, however we all have some prejudices that most of us attempt to suppress and NOT act on.

Is there one country that when you discover a person is from there you become less friendly towards that person?

If so, why do you dislike that country?

For example, I am NOT a fan of Serbians mostly because of their behaviour during the Yugoslavian War and because the thick necked Serbians I have met tend to be regressive pieces of shit who treat other races with disrespect.

I would say yeah it's probably still xenophobic.  I agree with your assessment of what it tends to mean, but I'm not sure there's a cleaner word for it so it's one of those "for lack of a better term" situations.

My late Father was friendly and spoke highly of persons from many many countries -- Yes Shiva he admired the Ukes due to their incredibly strong work ethic -- however he was very cautious of the Serbs and that was before the Yugo War.

I remember when a Mr Thomas moved into the neighbourhood in the early 70's.  Mr Thomas was a Black man from one of the landlocked countries in Central Africa -- Rhodesia I think -- who was married to a White British woman who also lived in that African country.  In any event, Dad was the only neighbour who spoke to Mr Thomas on a regular basis.  Once Papa summoned me to bring out a couple of beers for Mr Thomas and himself who were at the back fence talking on a hot Summer's Day.  A car drove by and two Slavic KUNTS yelled out at Mr Thomas -- "It's a White World".  Mr Thomas without missing a beat said back to them -- "Yes I know...I control it".

Mr Thomas and his wife were in the nursing field and opened one of the first nursing/old folks homes.  He probably became a billionaire.

I don't hate people for their nationalities.   I hate Ukraine's government not its people.  Actually not even that, its government is just a pile of puppets who -like so many other right wing extremist governments before - has our government's hand up their asses.  When Zelensky speaks, the voice is his but the words are written by members of the Biden regime.

I don't hate Israel or Jews.  Hell, after the horrors of the Shoah the Jews need a homeland.  I am not even against that state being where it is.  What I am against is the policies of recent Israeli governments, especially those of Netenyahu, turning Gaza and the West Bank into giant ghettos and being so very careless about murdering civilians.
