Democrats win mayor's race in Jacksonville, the biggest city in America run by the GOP

First time in 30 years Jacksonville goes Blue for mayor.

DeSantis must be livid!

Look for a whole new round of voter suppression laws coming out of Tallahassee soon.

Anymore , it's the only way R's can win an election is gerrymandering, voter suppression laws, and out and out stealing them.

Another sign of hope for the Republic:

  BREAKING: In another MAJOR LOSS for Republicans, the Democratic-aligned independent candidate Yemi Mobolade has DEFEATED Republican Wayne Williams in the Colorado Springs mayoral runoff election. This is the second big flip away from the Republican Party tonight. Donald Trump won this county by 16 points in 2016 and by 11 points in 2020. Colorado Springs has not had a non-Republican mayor since 1997.

Life is good.  CO Springs electing a democrat is almost unheard of so this is very, very cool.

Democrats maintained their narrow Pennsylvania House majority Tuesday by winning a special election and along with it continued control over how the chamber will handle abortion, gun rights and election law legislation.

Heather Boyd won a seat in the Philadelphia suburbs, beating Republican Katie Ford for a vacancy created by the resignation of Democratic Rep. Mike Zabel. Zabel quit the Legislature in March, shortly after a lobbyist accused him of sexually harassing her."

Gee!  A politician being held accountable by his party!
