Only thing he can do now is countersue in a civil suit to bleed that woman's wallet for the misery and hell she put that man through.

Reading this article I disagree with Mike Florio wholeheartedly.

If Matt has to spend $50,000 to defend his reputation against a false claim.  I think it is worth it.

Settling just to move it a long makes no sense to me.   Spend $50,000 either way?   First way is settle, spend $50,000 and leaving people wondering.

Don't settle, spend $50,000 defending your truth?   I believe that is $50,000 better spent.

I do hope Matt gets a shot somewhere.  Whether that is the XFL or USFL right now, or Canada in the summer, or ideally the NFL when teams get to camp.    I am nervous he won't get a shot though.

Not agreeing to settle tells the public (that’s watching) “I DIDN’T do anything that should have put me in this situation”! If he “settled” for 50k,  next headline reads “Punt god pays hush money”... FIYD, FIYD!!🤷‍♂️

She has nothing.  Better to sue the lawyer who took the case & started what is now obviously a frivolous lawsuit.
