Could be a beast

Yes he can be. Plays reckless, so I worry about  nagging injuries. Will Dorsey be able to scheme for him? Will Josh throw a ball under 20 yards downfield?

Ya know what jumps off the screen to me with this kid?

Dude doesn’t go down and he’s fucking fast.

Bills tight ends in the past would get the ball 5 yards short of the first down…and they would NOT get that first down. Knox is a bit better but is slow…and fucking drop big passes too.

This kid looks like a beast WR to me.

FUCK YEAH

I FUCKING APPROVE

My only concern is McDermott sits his ass for most of the year…

I loved the pick, had him going to us in my first mock, if used right he's a huge mis-match advantage. Even if he doesn't put up numbers, he's someone that DC's will have to gameplan for and could help get other guys open.

Thats the first thing I saw.  The after catch skills are exciting.   I dont think the Bills have ever had a TE like that, not even Metzelars.

Sin is nothing to celebrate, have pride in, or hold parades for. The rainbow is a symbol of promise not a symbol of depravity.

BAD BACK

Tight end is the most injuried position in the NFL.

Tight ends are asked to run like a deer, but block 270lb defensive ends.    Typically a tight end has packed on extra weight to accomplish this....meanwhile pushing their body to be faster.

Dawson Knox (DK1) had 15 receptions and zero TDs his senior year in college.

Dalton Kincaid (DK2) had 70 receptions and 8 TDs this year.

The upside is certainly there.

I can see him putting on some muscle mass in the next couple years. Like how Milano bulked up since his rookie year.

Love the pick. The absence of Beasley last year was so bad for us that we had to go get him off his couch. Having a reliable option in the slot is priceless.

Color me impressed that McBeane resisted their impulse to draft another DE

His post draft press conference sure made it sound like he was really focused on getting Dalton Kincaid, or he was trading back.   So he actually may not have been thinking DE.     Which matches with his Pre-Draft visits.    He looked at a ton of TEs and not many DEs.

Yea, he seems to have a good feel for knowing when to sit in the spaces between zone defenders like Beasley. He also has great hands, drops were a killer last year for the bills.

2022 - 70 receptions - 8 TDs.     That is a lot of catches for a TE.

Wow this guy is more like 75% WR 25% TE. Great hands, around the 2:40 mark the QB shoots him a Josh Allen type laser over his head and he snatches it out of the air.

I realize it's college but he seems fast and slippery as fuck but also willing to take contact. They used him in a lot of different plays too, a lot more utility than we use Knox for.

Agreed.

Here is another way to look at Kincaid.   He is/was a much better college TE than Dawson Knox was.   By a lot.    I think by 2024 Kincaid will be our focus at TE, and Dawson will be TE2.

He's got good burst, that's for sure. I couldn't find anything about his timed speed other than a 4.7, not sure how accurate it is.  I like how he just plucks the ball out of the air.

Among WRs AND TEs with 100 targets over the last two seasons, Dalton Kincaid ranks 1st in percentage receptions that were 1st downs or TDs FROM THE SLOT.

74.5% of his receptions from the slot were converted into 1st downs or TDs

Offense is going next level with a TE like this
