Flan
Just seems like a lot for a kicker, but the difference between a great kicker and a good kicker can be 2 additional wins a season and maybe a play-off win. So if he is great, particularly in our weather, you need to keep him. Ranking: 10th in FG% for kickers with 20 or more attempts. 2022 NFL field-goals stats - Players | NFL.com In total, the 44 kickers on the books in the NFL for the 2022-23 season make around $110 million combined. That puts the average kicker salary at around $2.5 million. 1. Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens: $6,000,000 2. Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers: $5,000,000 3. Younghoe Koo, Atlanta Falcons: $4,850,000 4. Graham Gano, New York Giants: $4,666,667 5. Daniel Carlson, Las Vegas Raiders: $4,600,000 Quote “So shines a good deed in a weary world." ...Willy Wonka

Victor7
I like Bass. Love his attitude and of course he has a big leg. But I gotta say IIRC we have yet to need him to hit a long game winner/tie. I know he's hit a few but most of them (if not all) have been short ones. I still wonder if he's THAT clutch you know? Like Vinatieri, Tucker or Carlson. Having said that better to lock him up than go on a search for someone just because Bass hasn't been tested in a certain very specific way. Good move. 2 Quote Bills fan for life!! ................ theAteam
Don’t care that it’s a lot for a kicker the dude is probably the 2nd best kicker in the league. He’s single handedly (footedly) won us quite a few games.
