No surprise. LJ asks for a trade.

If he wants a trade all he has to do is sign a contract with another team that the Ravens won't match.  If nobody is willing to give up 2 #1s and a ton of money for a guy who has missed 30% of the games the last 2 seasons, maybe it's time for him to rethink his market value.

The collusion against Jackson is as real as the Trump-Russia collusion... meaning, totally non-existent. The Watson contract was an epic failure by the Browns organization that will bite them in the ass and isn't likely to be followed by any other team except for some kind of once-in-a-generation player situation which isn't him. What chaps my ass is that this guy wants better than Mahomes and Allen yet is often injured and hasn't won jack shit in the playoffs. If he were sane he'd look for a contract somewhere near Dak Prescott and quit trying to play a victim.

These negotiations show the importance of having an agent.

At one point Lamar had what looked like all the leverage but right now no one wants anything to do with him and he is going to accept far less guaranteed money and a smaller contract than than he was asking for.

I'm still a Lamar Jackson fan and I think he should be paid like a franchise qb but right now he looks like an absolute ass.

And back off the FULLY GUARANTEED requirement.

Dak got $126,000,000 guaranteed.  Still substantial amount of CASH to escrow, but more palatable than $250 million.

Hey Lamar, teams are interested in your services, AT THE RIGHT PRICE.

This is sad.   Lamar deserves a good contract, yet he has no idea what he is worth nor has he the representation to negotiate it.

It reminds me of short- sighted, greedy and cheap friends who did not do their research and know a good value.   These types always lose out.

Can't blame him for wanting what Watson got, good character guy, and has an MVP to his credit, yeah he's been hurt but Watson was too....His problem is the only team dumb enough to give him a contract that Watson got, well, they already gave it to Watson

Really think that Lamar and the Ravens could had been butting heads for a very long time and we may not had known so much on behind the scenes stuff. Well just hope he can get a great new deal if it is not with the Ravens.

Ready for October Surprises!
