Crazy Legs
Free Agency is not completely over, but Beane's wallet is pretty light, so he does his first mock. a) He feels he signed WRs and OL in Free Agency, so now he needs DL and LB b) He keeps talking about WR that can provide RAC, so he grabs Tank Dell c) He trades back from 27 to 29, and gets to move up from 91 to 71. 1
The Chosen
I'd probably take that. Would rather a G/C with the 3rd pick, but still a nice draft. Quote Crowded elevators smell different to midgets............
whorlnut
So let me get this straight…we needed line and weapons all year, but we are now ok since we signed some cheap one year prove it deals? Yeah we got McGovern, but I don’t think for one second Beane is done on offense. He has a qb and a wr1 that were pissed at the end of the year from getting pressure and double teamed. Now you want to draft defense with cheap, long term premium picks? Sorry…I don’t agree with this at all.
Tanqueray Ten
I don't see how they pass up taking one of the centers, but then again, this is Brandon Beane we're talking about... https://www.drafttek.com/2023-NFL-Draft-Position-Rankings/Top-College-Centers-2023-NFL-Draft.asp

Did you want Beane to draft RB James Cook in the 2nd round this past year? I didn't. Did you want to draft LB Terrel Bernard in the 3rd? No way. Did you want to trade away the 4th? Nope Beane has his own plan. I think there is a fairly high chance he drafts a DT/DL in the 1st or 2nd round. z Mazi Smith, 6'3" 330lbs. Smith’s blend of size and quickness is rare. He can punch and control a base block with relative ease. He could share reps with Daquan Jones. We don't have anyone to do that right now.

I believe McGovern is going to be our center when Morse retires.
Nuke
It would be hard to come up with a draft I hate more. Beane drafts yet another Dlineman in the first and another in the third? Are you f-ing kidding me. In five drafts BB has drafted DL in the first or second round four times and they all have vastly underperformed. You got nothing out of any of them in either playoff game vs beat up offensive lines. Meanwhile, your $250 million QB is running for his life. This mock has to be a troll job. 2 Quote Ed Oliver is my adopt-a-Bill
SpikedLemonade
THAT MOCK MADE ME IMMEDIATELY THROW UP CHUNKS, SHIT MY PANTS COMPLETELY FULL, BLOW SNOT VIOLENTLY OUT OF MY NOSE, PISS MY PANTS & SOCKS AND MYSTERIOUSLY IGNATE MY EAR WAX ALL AT THE SAME TIME. 1 Quote Do Your Part to Improve The Range -- Please put the TRIO OF TRUMP FLUFFERSTM on IGNORE

Flan
getting Jerry Jeudy or Hopkins would make this draft a little better, but I would love to have seen OL somewhere in the first three rounds. 1 Quote “So shines a good deed in a weary world." ...Willy Wonka

Beane has all but backed himself into a corner and has to draft offense this off-season. As previously stated, their two best players were open about their frustrations at the end of the season and some cheap vets don’t move the needle for me at all. Not one bit. I like your posts, but this mock is just horrific. Hard pass…
BertSquirtgum
They need to draft at least one offensive lineman in the first three rounds. If they don't, Beane can fuck off

The Chosen
For everyone wanting Beane to draft offense, me included. We have Oliver and Settle on the roster at DT. Rousseau, Boogie, and AJ at DE. Like it or not, with all of the draft capital we use every year on defense, we still have some big needs on the defensive side of the ball too. Consider Oliver and AJ may be on their last year here, and the needs are even bigger. The above mock, while not what I would want, does fill some big holes.
