Crazy Legs
When trading a player, you are also trading his contract. Ed Oliver is on the last year of his contract. Good chance he hits free agency next year and we lose him. Derrick Henry is on the last year of his contract. So this trade would swap players, as both are one year rentals. Ed Oliver is due $10.3 million this year. Derrick Henry is due $16.3 million. Net Cap Cost to the Bills is $6 million for 2023, which is not nothing. But no Dead Cap in 2024. Would you rather have Ed Oliver for one more year, or Derrick Henry for one more year. 1 1 Quote Top30 Pre-Draft Visitors Private Workouts DT Gervon Dexter___OG O'Cyrus Torrence _RB Tyjae Spears DT Jaquelin Roy_____WR Tank Dell________________Virtual Zoom OL Juice Suggs 2023 Draft Prospects DT Mazi Smith ___ DT Keeanu Benton______ EDGE Tuli Tuipulotu OL Matthew Bergeron, 6'5" 323lbs____RT Darnell Wright, 6'6", 335lbs
