mixum
Mediocrity on offensive line. This has been Allen’s whole career. 2 Quote "Buffalo is hard to play but not hard to beat"

Actually there are Two Connor McGovern's in the PFF database. We signed the one with the lower grade LOL. OUR Connor McGovern was drafted out of Penn State by the Dallas Cowboys. He played 909 snaps this past season, and was only penalized once the whole season. That is good. He allowed only 2 sacks. That is actually very good. Reports say he is a good pass blocker but not that great at run blocking. I suppose that is good for us and Josh. McGovern played both guard spots, and some center, and in the Dallas offense also lined McGovern up as a fullback and tight end. PER the Dallas Star : "Though he played well at times guard, McGovern’s performance with the Cowboys was mixed last season."

Angry Byrds
Only 2 sacks last year? Not bad
Angry Byrds
So he’s the 13th best ranked interior lineman in the league last year, and his pass blocking rank was 76.6 the Powers was ranked 2nd with a rank of 86.7, and Saffold was a 50.2 rank. So at 7 million a year Beane got a good deal, and a huge upgrade. 1

SackMan518
I like it. We got a flexible guy who has pretty good grades and isn't costing a fortune. Now we need to shore up more in the draft. The Bills sign a solid interior o-lineman, filling a huge hole on this offense and rather than comment about that Sean is searching threads from 5 years ago so he can say our draft pick of a pro bowl, $18 million per year LB was a dumb pick.

Goobers said the same thing last year about the Van Roten and Queesenberry signings. Pardon me for not being ecstatic about a role player.

daryls61
This dude can really pass block so if you are in the We need to protect Allen club, you should love this guy. Run blocking, not so much but never run. Use the pass catching backs out of the backfield like runs - Also bring back the McKenzie sweeps and slip screens. Those are basically runs as well. bcw
McGovern and Bates were teammates at Penn State, where they blocked for Saquon Barkley. I’m sure then playing on the same oline and Pegula’s connection to Penn State helped bring him in.
bcw
Coming out of college he was supposed to be a much better run blocker than pass blocker. https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2824376-connor-mcgovern-nfl-draft-2019-scouting-report-for-dallas-cowboys-pick.amp.html
The Chosen
Nobody knows how this guy will turn out. He could be our backup interior lineman, he could be a starter. The guy isn't listed on Dallas's noticeable FA list. He isn't a pro bowler. We gave him 7 million +, could have had Shaq Mason for 8.5 million and a 6th. This guy could also end up being a Wyatt Teller type find for us. Point is, its all speculation until it isn't. As usual being a Bills fan, I am forced to hope for a miracle, while almost always settling for a turd. 1 Quote Crowded elevators smell different to midgets............
