drpepper
When we last saw Bills receiver Stefon Diggs on (or technically near) a football field, he was gesticulating in the direction of quarterback Josh Allen during a home playoff loss to the Bengals. Since then, Diggs has had a couple of cryptic tweets that have created questions as to whether he’s ready to move on [more]View the full article

Popular Post Victor7
Its quite simple Mr. Diggs. Its coaching. Come playoff time Frazier and McD turn into big time pussies and have allowed some pretty huge numbers to opposing O's Dorsey was not very good either but at least he can say he was a noob. 4 Quote Bills fan for life!! ................ I can't remember anything about that game. I was a half hour late, it was 14-0, the field was not good and I can't think of what we can do but hire a very good defense coach which is not a big support for Dermott. If we resigned the punt god we could watch his booming leg in practice and the few in games and ignore the rest of the game.
Popular Post Woody
The Bills designed a team that could beat the Chiefs and they ended up getting bitch slapped by the Bengals. That's what it all boils down to. 1
deleted
One again, FanBack provides reason. After 2020 and 2021, Beane launched into 'let's bring the band together' and they made a couple of moves they thought woud prevent the playoff losses. You could see the reason why, after 2020 they thought 'If Beasley's leg isn't broken, Diggs obliques heals, and we execute better we can win this thing'. After 2021, 'if we get someone to put the other QB on his ass, we can win this thing.' They didn't improve or change. Well, the rest of the league caught up and Beane/McDermott both realize change is in order. This feels like 2019 where the team is committed to improvement. Next year will be epic. Seriously, I see that McDermott is not aggressive when the offense is sucking; otherwise he has become a very aggressive coach. Top of the league. For the past 4 years. Now, I agree that not going for it when your offense is stinking works for the regular season. In the playoffs, I don't. Throw caution to the wind. Very Wide Right
Until Diggs is a factor in a big game he should keep his mouth shut. He was a ghost last year in KC and a ghost in the Bengals game.

Jamsiam57, it was my pleasure to correct your wrong- headed thinking. Just a Bills fan helping a Bills fan. To funny McDermott, playing at home, threw caution to the wind for a full 4 quarters? Brilliant strategy from a head coach hoping to get a chance to play in a Super Bowl. Why didn't the Bengals throw caution to the wind? That defense, or lack of defense that we witnessed, he and Frasier game planned for a full week to come up with. Let that sink in. I don't know how they did it, but it was putrid. I'm guessing it went something like this "supposed to be snowing, with heavy winds, maybe we should just pack it in, and not do anything." And that's pretty much what we saw. Hard to win when your defensive guru of a head coach is lining up 5 yards off the line of scrimmage, and then backing up another 5 yards allowing Burrows to take advantage of what the defense gave him, consistently march down the field, controlling the clock and the game. Why didn't Buffalo take a page from the Bengals playbook, and attempt to do the same thing? They only ran the ball 19 times (8 by Allen) against an offensive line with injuries and littered with backups. Why wouldn't your head coach, with everything on the line, attempt to take it to a weakened offensive line, challenge them, and see what they've got? Pretty strange. However, once again he did say that they will learn from this. He says that every year, still waiting for him to actually learn anything. Yay, top of the league. However, no trophy's for top of the league. In fact, no trophies for anybody who chooses to not go for it. Psst ... they didn't go for it. Hope I quantified it enough for you ... Thanks for the help Bill's fan.

Thanks for the help Bill's fan. You're an idiot. I never said McDermott threw caution to the wind - I said for the playoffs I'm in favor of that against what McDermott normally does. Which is to go conservative when the offense isn't working. The rest of your post is not worth reading. You say McDermott is responsible for what is a Frazier call. Learn how the NFL works. Daryll is a good source. Read my post carefully and understand before you respond with hate. And JPP's 'Clapping Seal Up Vote' is even more of a Fool Move than your ignorant post. He has never posted anything of worth.

Dude, I read your original post, and I didn't respond with hate, just as one Bills fan helping out another. This is a message board, where posters will have differing opinions, and I'm okay with that. You however, seem to have a problem with that. The head coach, especially a defensive guru like McDermott, will always have a hand (say) in what the DC decides to do, that's why he's the head coach. Assistant coaches work under him, and not the other way around. Who knows, maybe McDermott is the reason Frasier is taking a break. Defense might have been a little more McDermott, and a little less Frasier for his liking. But who knows. I'll leave that up to you, because you obviously know how the NFL works. And if you don't, you can always refer to Daryl. JPP with the thumbs up? Just one Bills fan, agreeing with another I read your original post, and in responding I didn't need to use the word idiot, fool or ignorant, because like I said, you're allowed your opinions. However, you called me an idiot, yet responded to your own post. Just saying ...
