mixum
Not that it’s a huge shocker they both are bailing for more money but it’s a devastating loss. Simply too many holes on this roster to compete in AFC. MLB, 2 safety’s, offensive line rebuild, running back, wide receiver, and some say CB. That’s without a punter or backup QB. That team is maybe a 7 with team with Josh Allen. This is why Diggs wants to be traded. He sees it’s. How none of you do is beyond me. It’s a rebuild except at QB and Milano. The roster is awful. 1 1 Quote "Buffalo is hard to play but not hard to beat"

bcw
I’ll wait to see how they address the holes in the roster before saying they are done in the race for the AFC. Beane knew the cap would be tight and players would be leaving when he signed Von Miller. I can’t imagine he would make an expensive signing like that if he didn’t have a plan to keep the team competitive.
Buffalochief2
All the leading NFL cap and Free agency “experts” say Edmunds is only worth between $10 and 11 mil/yr. I think the Bills will go as high as $16. If other teams are stupid enough to pay him more it will be a blessing for the Bills (as long as Bernard is not his replacement).

Baldat28
All depends on what they do in free agency, Poyer while good is also 32 and is looking for top dollar. I'm a big Edmunds fan, met him once and was really humble, but I that's a position a rookie can come in and play and there won't be much of a drop off, heck when Klein played in his place there wasn't a dropoff at all....if however they decide not to be players in free agency and sit on the cap issues, then yes, they'd be in re-build mode, and at that point should trade Diggs and take the hit, and might as well trade Dawkins and White too, might as well hit the reset button in 2023 and go for it again in 2024.....I'd be shocked if that happened though
Popular Post SackMan518
Bogus. Look at KC's losses last year (Mathieu, Hill, Ingram, Pringle, Williams, Sorensen) and they didn't miss a beat. Fact is good teams lose FAs all the time and if they have a great front office like we do they replace them. It's the name of the game now and I'm not onboard with you doomers. 3 5 Quote Sack "The Buffalo Range's TRUSTED News Source!" “When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.” ~ Dresden James Parler @NYexile

Yes, I believe it to be an integral part of my personality. I was always a big Chris Berman fan. He was the king of nicknames. In this instance though, Maine Savage is Edmounds twitter handle. I like using those as well. LeSan McCoy's was Cut On Dimes and one of my favorites. 1 Quote The Things that unite us are far greater than the things that divide us. "Are you a Jedi?" jamsim67
It's the beginning of March, and the doom and gloomers are out in full force. Baseball season (which I have grown to hate) hasn't even started yet. Take a deep breath and relax, anything can happen between now and September. Beane will get the players to make this team successful. miamibillsnut
Edmunds who cares. Easily replaceable. Poyer is a big loss if we're going to keep playing the same system. If we're not who knows if he's any good in a normal defense from the 21st century Quote Sin is nothing to celebrate, have pride in, or hold parades for. Zan186
There is the possibility that the Bills tank next year to retool and make a run in 2025. They could address the Offense and neglect the defense, just plug a scrub in at safety and MILB and just try to outscore opponents. Having a top 10 draft pick next year could push the Bills over the top. Not a fan of a rebuild year, but without restructuring and signing at least one of the two (edmunds/Poyer), the Bills are going to have too many holes on defense to plug in one draft. The other angle is if you lose both and you don't sing FA then you get compensatory picks....something Beane never took advantage of.
