Greg
That would be a lot to give up for a 40-year-old.
Thurmal
Fine with me. I think he's a lot closer to done than Brady was at 39, and the Jets losing those picks will really hurt them if he's not gangbusters. He didn't exactly light it up last year.
Greg
He didn't have anyone to throw to last year. The Jets actually have some good receivers especially Wilson. Factor in Breece Hall will be back and they have a good defense. Rodgers goes there and they will be a big problem for the AFCE. They are not a POS team anymore. JD hit a grand slam in the draft last year for them.
theAteam
Clearly they think they are a QB away from contention. Might be true for the short term but they'll be feeling the pain in a few years when he's gone and there's a giant hole of young talent. I also doubt he handles the NY media with grace.
Baldat28
Ah, I don't think Rodgers will handle the NY media too well. I do think that makes them contenders for a year, but if they don't make the Superbowl, I'm not sure it'd be worth it
mixum
It’s not a horrible thing if this happens at all. Not to mention he will not get along with New Yorks liberal media. Quote "Buffalo is hard to play but not hard to beat"
Albany,n.y.
15 years ago the Jets brought in Brett Favre for a season. If Woody Johnson wants Rodgers, it's up to Joe Douglas & Robert Saleh to slap some sense into him.
seandelevan
Definitely a boom or bust move.
