Is it time for a big re-build for the Bills?

Recommended Posts

As Elvis said, we're caught in a trap and can't walk out.

A great QB is now the norm for NFL SB contenders.  We have that.  We don't have a decent OL or DL and a weak group of DB's.

How did this happen?  I think we have to rip things apart and re-build.

This roster isn't going to get better and certainly not SB quality.  The ANXIOUS wins against Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Miami, Jets and Patriots all showed our lack of dominating overall talent.

Get it done!

Next year is cap hell, but so fucking help me, we need to go all in on the offensive side of the ball and get receivers.  The defense will have enough talent, provided they get a new dc, to keep them tolerable, but we do need to go offense heavy.

So they probably will need to make some trades. White is likely top of list. Get as many draft picks as possible. To me the only untouchable guys are Allen and Milano. Maybe Diggs but that wasn’t a good look today.

Excellent job reminding us how wrong you were. LOL ground and pound - WRONG. Coaching is only 10-20% of the game?  Boy you look dumber than ever now.

That's it.  We're caught in a trap.  A big iron bear trap just clamped itself onto the Bills' nutsack.  The Bills will likely be drafting in the bottom ten for the next few years, and there's not much money to go around for FA's.  It'll be interesting to see what Beane does to make it work.  :niterider:

They never solved the Beasley safety valve absence, even when he came back.

It’s hard to check down when there’s nobody to check down to.

IMO keep him, he came back and had to get “up to speed” again. Let him and Shakir work together. McKenzie ehh, crowder ehh, Hell I’d keep Brown over both.

Okay, I don't want to rebuild.     I do want to dramatically improve our OLINE, and have someone figure out how to keep guys like Daquan Jones, Von Miller and Jordan Phillips healthy.   Those 3 healthy make us a lot better on the defensive line.

How we get there is going to be a challenge.   We have no Cap Space, and pick at the bottom of the first 5 rounds.   Maybe we have to let Tremaine and Jordan Poyer walk so we have some money for Linemen.
