It is a struggle as they get into their later years. Lucy -- the pure breed Bassett Hound -- turned 7 years old this past November and is having bladder issues. I have her on a bladder supplement but I suspect this may require a Vet trip. She pees a lot more than before and had accidents in her crate the past couple of weeks. I have had to clean her crate tray and washable crate bed/matt as a result. This morning I gave her a bath in the basement wash basin. The wife thinks it is behavioural and I think it is medical. Tiny -- the pure breed Great Dane -- will be 5 years old in March. He is getting very lazy. Each morning, I give each of the 3 dogs a small chunk of frozen liver or sausage that I have previously BBQ'd. Recently, Tiny won't stand up in his crate to get his until I feed the other two despite the fact he historically gets his first. The kunt is getting too lazy to stand up for liver. I will be more than depressed when one of them passes although it triggers the agreement I have reached with the wife to then acquire two female French Bulldogs to be named Thelma and Louise. You are such a fucking idiot, the reason the dog is peeing in the crate is because you are confining her in the crate too long. Mentally retarded morons shouldn't be allowed to have pets.
