No the parents decide what movies a child watches.

Avoiding the question.

If it's bad to socialize kids into thinking it's okay to be gay too early, it's also bad to socialize kids into thinking it's okay to be straight too early.  Right?

No I don't.  I consider the what-ifs because you have to do so in order to craft effective policy.  There need to be systems in place to account for them BEFORE they become relevant so that you're not just flailing in the wind caught unawares when they do.

There are, CPS, right?? Isn't that what you said?? And you're moving the goalposts to "It's OK to be Gay/Trans" from "Kids who are 'AUTHENTICALLY' Trans when they're 10 need to take body altering drugs"

Because STRAIGHT is normal. GAY is the exception. STRAIGHT sex/relationships are are by design how contraception, reproduction happens and is how that kid got here. GAY sex exists for one thing, pleasure.

CPS has nothing to do with kids being Gay or Trans.

Good, so you agree that we need a different solution to protecting LGBT youth than the system we have in place to protect kids with parents who beat them for not eating enough.

Why?? If parents beat their kids for being gay/trans, isn't that abuse? Isn't that a case for your beloved CPS? Who, BTW, are the exact agencies teachers contact when they suspect abuse in lieu if directly involving themselves in the situation, by policy

SOME parents will either beat, disown, or murder their kids if they're told they're gay or trans.  Gay or trans kids in those households need someone else to talk to because they can't tell their parents.  I don't know what the fuck your obsession with this "using exceptions as rules" talking point is.  It's important to think about worst case scenarios for vulnerable people and find ways to give them alternatives to being forcefed into them via social chokepoint.  All you're really saying when you bleat "usINg eXcePTions UsInG ExCeptIONS wAaAaAaAaAaA" is that you don't care if some people die as long as they're faggots.

You’re not looking at worse case scenario either if you think it’s ok for anyone other than a parent to tell a 7 old that it’s ok to be a gay 7 year old or a heterosexual 7 year old for that matter. Is that teacher going to handle an irate parent?

That's one hell of a pivot.  Try again, champ.

No, that IS your premise. There's no pivot there. YOU think teachers are more equipped to deal with kids who have gender/sexuality issues than their parents. You think teachers have a responsibility to mentor or guide those kids outside of their parents attitudes about the kids, you use the exception as if it's the rule constantly and you have referenced kids committing suicide because of parents who don't accept their kids as it if it happens in most cases of kids being trans

I'm not moving the goalposts if I believe both of those things.

Ah so THAT'S what you mean by "treating the exception as the rule".

You just don't want LGBT youth to have happy childhoods.  You WANT them to feel like outcasts.

No. I think it's better for LGBT youth who DO have the misfortune of having parents who are ill-equipped for helping them navigate that unique challenge to have someone they can talk to besides said ill-equipped parents, and I recognize that it's better to create those spaces for them before they're needed than it is to wait until after when for SOME of them- THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR FUCKING OWN- find out they shouldn't have trusted their parents when it's too late to put the genie back in the bottle.

Yup 6th grade is the perfect grade for that. Sex Ed and so on and so forth

So what if you're a gay 4th grader?  You just have to spend 2 years thinking there's something wrong with you?

I feel like most 4th graders aren’t sure yet. But I will tell you for sure that 99.9% of fathers are going to have a big problem with a teacher telling THEIR child it’s ok to wear dress. Yeah, don’t listen to your parents.

Just say what you guys really think: you WANT society to hide the fact that it's okay to be gay or trans from LGBT youth because you're more comfortable when they're in the closet.

I’m definitely more comfortable with me parenting my kids and teaching them the birds and the bees. Thanks for offering though

But it is okay for girls to wear dresses, and some kids who were assigned male at birth are girls.  Why is it wrong for them to wear dresses?

Kids are brutal.

What about the ones who are?  What about the girl who watches The Little Mermaid and thinks Ariel is pretty and couldn't give the tiniest sliver of a shit about Prince Eric?  What about the boy who watches Pocahontas and crushes on John Smith?

Face it, pal.  You want those kids to be in the closet.  You don't want them to be openly LGBT.  You don't want them to know ANYONE is openly LGBT.

It’s not if the parents say it’s not. Man I feel like I’m repeating myself. Also a teacher is definitely not equipped to council a child on their sexuality.
