That word isn't prohibited on this board, so sometimes it makes shock value--how can someone talk about praying and use that word? I already had an "up close & personal" talk with God and chose "option B," life, so don't worry about any curse words from my mouth, but I'll refrain from using it in threads you're in.

I am proactive, not reactive, I've said here many times you's better pray for the Bills or a Bills victory--it can be related to results on the field. THIS I KNOW. But I get bashed as some religious lunatic or something by those that never said a prayer in their life, even some that have. MAYBE IT'S TIME TO PRAY. Even if you're not a believer, reading the words is a start.

As for prayers AFTER the injury, you are praying reactively, for 1 person; it should have never come to this. 

BY THE WAY, are Lutherans the ones that added, "...for Thyne is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory, Forever and Ever" to the Our Father? I wasn't taught that in the Catholic school system way back when...

Oh, there are plenty who choose hedonistic secular humanism as their religious belief system.  On the other hand, you also lashed out at the one principled, humble, and honest group....agnostics(to be clear, principled and aware, not the lazy who simply wish to avoid thought. During my 2nd year of law school at the University of Toronto in 1984, my roommate and I bought a student ticket package deal for the new franchise Toronto Tornados who were playing their first season at the old Varsity Arena on campus two blocks awaysfrom our student apartments.

Best deal ever!!!

For $76 CAN we got season tickets, jackets, vouchers we could cash in for another 10 games to give to friends and other swag.

The team sucked for the beginning of the year but turned it on for the second half.

Our seats were just behind the team bench and I voiced my displeasure at their poor play during the 1st half.  I was a crowd favourite and even had some of the players chuckling.

I even got drawn for the foul shooting season long contest to win a new huge motorcycle.  I had to hit two of three foul shots to advance to the final.  Missed my first shot in the final like 11 of the 14 participants.  The winner only sank 3 to win.  I practiced every morning early for 3 weeks.  In practice, I routinely would win games of 21 by sinking 11 consecutive shots.  I just choked and hit the front rim during the final contest.

I use to live in Iowa and followed the Cedar Rapids Silver Bullets. Named after Coors lite cans who was major sponsor. Originally they were going to be called the Slammers before Coors entered into the deal. I thought BeerSlammers was a good alternative lol.

I was at game ironically against Rockford Lightning when cba famous eccentric personality coach Charlie Rosen got into it w CR Coach George Whitaker as CR pressed all game in a blowout. Almost fight on court then Charlie laid in wait in hallway and intercepted George and punched him in face. Charly ended up fired. Wrote a famous book about the cba called the Coackroach League because you couldn't kill it.(John Starks was on CR team and was calm and friendly in cba unlike the a-hole he played in the league for Knicks vs Jordans Bulls later when he broke out in NBA)

SilverBullet fans were awesome razzzing officials. In good fun.  Couple guys behind bench made eye charts they would flash at bad calls.

At a game marketed as "midnight pajama party" many fans wore pajamas lol and party beforehand w food drink.  Game aired on ESPN at midnight Central time the team believe it or not handed out eye charts. The whole arena waving them at bad calls. Only in cba lol.

I saved one. f**k could have gathered up a hundred as fans left them but my GF said i had enough. Staff left stacks of them here and there. Place was full like 5 k. Great night. Could hear the eye charts wrinkle when a perceived bad call happened. fun.
