Very Wide Right
Fox news channel was the most watched cable television network in the nation for the seventh consecutive year in 2022 according to Nielsen Media Research data, in a year competitors saw their viewership fall! Fox was the top cable network in BOTH primetime and total day viewers this year averaging 2.3 million viewers during weekly prime time slots. Those figures FAR EXCEED rivals CNN and MSNBC. Congratulations FOX!

Congratulations FOX! Yeah, people have a hard time looking away from a car crash but realistically, it’s a proven fact that people are drawn to negativities more than they are to positive news. That’s why historically a local news channel spread more emphasis in crime and fires instead of feel good stories. They know that’s what will draw more viewers. I remember, when I was a kid, eyewitness news was the most watched news channel, and the thing people remember the most about eyewitness news. We’re all the videos of how Buffalo was burning. Even Jim Carrey, talked about that, growing up as a kid in Toronto and watching Buffalo news channels because all the news stories were about all the fires in Buffalo. Fires and crime. When I was doing sales training, we were taught to say certain negative things about competitor products because people remembered negativities 85% of the time and positivity 15% of the time and Fox News has embraced this and has exploited it ? Congratulations FOX! Not really. The “average” number of prime time viewers for Fox Crap Fake “News” is 2.3 million....only slightly more than the combined viewership of CNN and MSNBC of about 2 million. So what? The population of the United States is about 330 million. About 209 million of those over 18 years old. What this means is that hardly anyone is watching any cable news....that is available for free On the other hand, the NY Times paid subscribers, for their digital service ALONE is over 6 million....and literally tens of millions that read their content because local newspapers reprint the stellar reporting that the NY Times produces. Add even more with the Washington Post and other credible news sources that are more concerned wit accurate reporting than conjuring up wing nut propaganda. The reality is that, yes, more people watch Fox Crap Fake “News” because they are cultists and fucking idiots, that are incapable of thinking on their own.....they need Sean Hannity, Bimbo Laura and scummy Tucker to tell them how to think and become good little lemmings with their lies and pimping of racism and homophobia.. Knuckle dragging idiots that have no interest in facts or truth, only getting their daily red meat of radical right wing lying, demagogic racist, bigoted SHIT!!!!! Just like the Nazi’s needed Joseph Goebbels to keep the ignoramuses in line. For the record...I hardly watch any cable news. I do tune in to Fox Crap Fake “News” once in a while for a few minutes during prime time to see the shit that the scumbags are staying to shove down the cultist’s empty heads. All lies and bullshit all the time. I pay for subscriptions from both the NY Times and Washigton Post along with several other sites including The Atlantic and NY Magazine. Being well informed is important for a civilized society. Fox Crap Fake “News” cultists are the opposite and would rather be spoon fed shit rather than the any semblance of the truth.

Herodotus
The saddest thing about Fox News is that its the closest thing we have to objective journalism left in this country. Before we continue, I want to make it absolutely clear that this does not mean they are good. In fact, they are trash. They are only the closest thing we have to objective journalism left in this country when a Democrat is in power. A Republican is in charge, they become prostitutes. Please understand, I hold our corporate state controlled press in deep contempt. When a handful of multinational corporations control 90% plus of the media establishment it is rather dishonest to say we have a free press. We have a subservient press and have since the news media got a bit too close to doing its job in the 1970s with Watergate and Vietnam. As a brief aside, some years ago the History Channel had this circle jerk about the first Gulf War where they said one of the successes was that the Pentagon controlled the flow of information unlike Nam. Yeah, about that, no just wrong. The news media needs to be in the war zones not to masturbate to the colors but to question the narrative and to ask the big questions instead of slurping four star corporate cock. The problem with Fox, is that what they bitch about today because of Biden they will say is the greatest thing in world history during a Republican regime. That is not praiseworthy journalism, its very dishnonest but sadly right now they are the closest thing we have to objective journalism. A bit more on the corporate state press. The 24/7 propaganda cycle is dying and has been dying since the advent of the internet. People are mercifully tired of pundits, but sadly pundits have been replaced by influencers. In fact, the biggest problem with social media today is that for the past decade forces in our government have been silencing dissenting views on the internet in the name of "freedom" or our "democratic institutions" or some other such nonsense. Now don't get me wrong, there is a lot of bullshit out there. For instance the Obama birth certificate, guess what bozos he was born in Hawaii and his mama is a US citizen anyway and was born an American so the whole fucking point is moot. For instance, Michelle is a tranny named Michael and the girls are adopted. Well first,I am always curious why some are so fascinated by what is between someone's legs. Second, one of the Obama girls takes after Michelle and the other takes after Barack so I am gonna call BS to the gay tranny adopted thing. However, nonsensical bullshit aside, I am not a fan of what has happened on social media and Google in recent years. Back in 2015 at Billszone I was able to post an hour long compilation of CNN's "reporting" bloopers from the first Iraq war that I found on youtube. Sadly, there are now only two or three videos each under about five minutes in length. Oh google gets worse, in addition to deplatforming dozens of anti war videos on youtube they have also deranked countless independent news media outlets. Okay, some of them were cookie but mintpress and antiwar were actually good sites, but they cannot be found on the top page of most news searches. Shiva mentioned Tulsi Gabbard, very curious how all mentions of her debates were scrubbed. The same people scrubbed Vicky Nuland's confessions to American funded bio weapons labs in Ukraine and her role in orchestrating Maidan and naming the first puppets we put in power in Ukraine in 2014. Its all good though, I have bookmarked those articles and have access via yandex those videos because despite google's best efforts, once somehting is on the interwebz, it stays on the interwebz. Facebook and Twitter still shadow ban people for questioning official narratives. I know, I have been shadowbanned from both. The only saving grace about the internet is that while it is possible to filter the information on it, the web is much too large to completely succeed at that.
