Clash Of Football Philosophies on MNF

Well here we are motherfuckers 

Cincy has built their team how I’ve been bitching on how the Bills should have been building theirs for 5 god damned years now. This Cincy team has made it further than the Bills…FACT. So now let’s see what happens when they face each other. 
 

Cincy built their team like how I wanted the Bills to build theirs: surround the franchise qb with elite weapons and priority free agents. Cincy has studs…notice plural….STUDS…at WR…a damn fine rb…a damn good TE….they signed 3 free agents and drafted OL. 4 first rounders on their offense. Meanwhile they have zero first rounders on defense…unless you count Eli Apple…who was NOT drafted by the Bengals. Yup, the same DL that was giving Mahomes god damned fits in that playoff game has NO first or second rounders. 
 

With all the first and second rounders on our DL and secondary you’d expect them to pressure Burrow and shut down the passing game. 
 

Right now Cincy beat reporters are posting the ridiculous numbers elite WRs have put up this year against the Bills. They are saying Chase and Tee Higgins are going to have career games. LOL 

 

So fasten your seatbelts motherfuckers and pray to your gods the Bills don’t lose or it will be ONE BIG FAT I TOLD YOU SO from me following the game…and beyond.

If the Bills win…thanks to their defense…I’ll respectfully give Sean McDermott his due. I’ll stop all talk of this team being defensive first. I’ll say “defense wins championships”. I’ll give McDermott a longer leash. I’ll blow him….figuratively lol.

 

Are the Bills not practicing at all this whole time? I haven’t heard anything.

I'll shave my cock and balls just in case. Anyways, I think we put too much emphasis on how good a defense should be. The Chiefs is dog shit in red zone defense (32nd rank). If Bills cut down on stupid turnovers and stupid penalties, they should win this game easily. Having said that, I say Bills get blown out 49-10.

Every time the Bills drafted a defensive player early in the draft the last 5 years I would say:

“cool…another guy we’ll see chasing other teams playmakers”

Are you also saying the Bengals do not have a good defense being you claim the teams are built very differently?  FYI, the Bills do have a WR whom the NFL named All-Pro 2 seasons ago, if they choose to use him, who had 6 receptions for 60 yards in January of this year vs the mighty Chiefs your boy Nick Wright is a fan of, in addition to another All-Pro named Diggs, and Josh Allen has shown that like Mahomes he can manufacture weapons when necessary(Lil Dirty vs NE, Gabe vs KC, highlight reel TD to Kumerow in his first and only target of season vs Denver).  How about KC?  Would you rage against them being Mahomes doesn't need half a dozen elite targets, just 1 TE?

I really believe that elite offensive weapons can beat just about any defense. We have Diggs and then a bunch of average Joes. HOWEVER…the bengals better pray that they can get Allen flustered, or he will pick apart their shitty DBs. 
 

My fear in this game is the interior oline. DJ Reader and BJ Hill will be a terror on our atrocious guards and backup center if Morse can’t play. I fully expect Allen will have pressure in his face all day. This could be a long day for our team and us as fans.

I can’t say I disagree. I wish I felt differently, but you are most likely right about this. All season, we’ve seen that the offense needs upgrades, but it will end up being the most recent failure that points us right back to defense when it’s all said and done. I hate that it’s probably the truth.

Though the forced(unplanned) Allen runs are the ones where he truly can shine sometimes, or the scrambles away from rushes where he throws.  If the run game gets going early, it can take some pressure off Allen....  I haven't kept tabs on Sean closely enough to know if he is back to wanting to abolish the run now that they seem to be doing better, or still demanding more attention to the run in the offseason?  Where is @daryls61.   Even if he weren't running for mod, this would normally be a thread he'd be tearing up.  :)

I really can’t see our run game working against Reader and Hill. If Morse doesn’t play, then we are screwed up front. I truly think this game comes down to Allen. If he plays out of his mind we will win or at least be in it all game.

Yes Sean, we know you are a loser and want the Bills to lose. As usual you forgot to include that the elite receivers that have had success have had it when your defense of low round picks and UFA's has been playing, Benford, Jackson, Lewis, Johnson and Hamlin. Good to know your standard it to make the super bowl, not win it. 

As usual, you are talking out of both sides of your mouth as Bills have beat KC in regular season but not in playoffs and you went on about that for weeks so by your own words, who wins this game is meaningless as the playoffs are all that matters.

What a miserable existence it must be to always root for the Bills, a team you claim to root for but we all know you dont, to lose every week so you can spread your misery to the rest of us. You will be the 2nd person silenced once I become mod.

What if they outscore Bungals, then what? What is your prediction for the game?  Will you even go on record as usually you don't. My prediction, Bungals 27 Bills 22. Will probably place ISP bet on Bungals + whatever they end up at. Has not got to +3 that I can see.

Also, Bills have been practicing as far as I know both yesterday and today. I am sure the week was mentally difficult and stressful for them but they have been dealing with that all season and still have been winning.

Yet, #2 offense in NFL. Hard to improve on that. Only better offense is KC with only 1 stud receiver like us.
