In fairness, both of the guys you listed were long gone by the time we picked in those rounds. However…damnit creed Humphrey would look good in a bills uniform right about now. I hated the Basham pick cause I was 100% sure Humphrey was gonna be a bill when our turn came. Instead?  A double dip on a guy that doesn’t see the field much. Damn.

You’re thinking of Hollywood Brown.

AJ Brown was taken 2nd round….pick 51. We took Cody Ford early in the second. Yeesh

Watching various NFL shows today and it's obvious, teams like SF, Miami etc will out pace the Bills and be more successful because they go after star game-changers like McCaffrey, Tyreek Hill, Gisiecki, etc and the Bills never do.

Then you see other teams who scheme outside the box, while our coaches keep doing the same things that only work many times because of the will and extra effort of players like Josh Allen instead of putting them in position to just work vs the opposition.

Nobody put the 49rs in the Superbowl conversation in September. Now they're near the top of favorites to win because they picked up star players and developed their schemes as the season went along.

Meanwhile, Buffalo is still in the conversation but not the darling favorites to win it

Remember chuck Mercein etc. Those pickups can cash their checks.. I like our "team".

The crack in the Bills Circling the Wagons is the offensive line.

We have to stay healthy.    Mitch Morse could be out for awhile.  Ryan Bates is dinged up, again.

Plus we are not maximized for wintry, cold weather.     Josh Allen is a Ferrari.    We could use a big, bruising back.
