For most people, absolutely.  Most dads aren't among the 1000 or so most powerful people in the country.  If you're in the unique position of having one who is, I can imagine it would DRASTICALLY magnify the existential angst you'd feel from being a queer kid with a queerphobic parent.  IMO it is not at all unreasonable to imagine that being a major contributor to an attempt on one's life.

I raised my 3 alone from when they were 12, 11 and 8 years old.

The middle one was my only daughter and to be supportive, I would consistently tell her that if she was a Lesbian that I was OK with that and would always love her.

It got to the point that she told me to shut up because she is not going to be a Lesbian NO matter how many times I asked.

I just figured that most women would treat another women better than most men do and all I care about is for my daughter to be loved and treated well.

What the fuck do I care if she is loved by a woman or a man?

AND NO most Lesbians are NOT hot Lipstick Lesbos but rather the Fugly Bulldagger Dykes so it was NOT because I wanted more hotness around the Christmas Dinner table.

We all have issues with our parents and when we become parents our kids have issues with us.

It's not a GOOD reason to kill yourself, but very few suicide attempts are done by people with good reasons to self-terminate.

Huh? Oh you mean I posted what the original reports were? I don’t think I’ve seen anything yet that disputes that or that confirms he was only hit once but I do give you credit for finding the tiniest little thing to hang on to try to cling to your fucked up viewpoint.
