Should we blame the people of the present for the misdeeds of the people of the past?

You’re a fucking pussy to thinks you need to apologize to everybody that may have been wrong in their lives.

When did I say that?

Slavery was not my fault, and I don't need to apologize for it.

Jim Crow was not my fault, and I don't need to apologize for it.

Redlining was not my fault, and I don't need to apologize for it.

Systemic Racism is not my fault, and I don't need to apologize for it.

All I have to do is acknowledge that these are things that have existed and fight to make sure they never come back.

I say let all the white guilt libs pay all the reparations they want.  I'm going to pass.  Those who did nothing wrong shouldn't pay those who had nothing done to them.  Bottom line.

They wont pay up. It's all VIrtue signaling. Just like they supposedly care about immigrants  until they are sent to their community.

All this means is that a reparations bill passed through Congress should not be funded via new taxes, and I completely agree.  The government is the wrongdoer in this instance, so it needs to dip into its OWN pockets to pay them.

Fortunately, the U.S. uses a fiat currency that they control the printing of, so this isn't a significant hurdle to crafting reparations legislation.

This guy makes really great video essays.  You should check out the one about Hunter's laptop from a couple weeks ago, I thought it did a really good job of being fair in covering the parts that are true while pointing out which parts of the leak have not been authenticated.

It's OWN pocket is filled by taxes

It's not.  Taxes are not ultimately about funding the government under a fiat currency.  They're a way of managing the money supply to keep inflation (LEGITIMATE inflation, not what we're seeing now) under control.

Or at least that's how it should be.  There are a lot of dumbfucks in charge that don't understand Modern Monetary Theory and completely bungle shit in deference to outdated fiscal theory..

Sort of fascinating how we think we're so much smarter and more enlightened than people of the past, as if we would somehow have been enlightened had we been living back then.

But, when the teevee tells you that you need to engage in a medical experiment to protect you from a virus with a 99+ survival rate for almost all demographics, most people bleat and go along with the Great Idea. Hasn't been tested? Sure, why not! Some have gone back for more, a second, third, even a fourth time.

Enlightened!
