in most states you can't sue an employer for termination. And employees can leave without notice also at any time with no repercussions.

smart employers never reveal why they terminate someone. They then avoid any legal hassles.

I'm going through my own wrongful termination lawsuit right now, granted mine isn't the same as best as the NFL, though they are a global company....All you have to do is find an attorney that'll take the case, then about 95% of the time it'll settle before it ever reaches a trial.....in his case, he could sue for defamation to the girl, big difference between statuary rape and rape rape, in many states the age of consent is 16, so in those state's he didn't even break the law, however I do know thats not the case where this happened, so I'm not sure he would have a case against the NFL, especially since it appears he could sign on with a team now

BUT. if he is in some way cleared of wrongdoing, his career can resume.  

The players in that locker room understand that the only reason they could have to mourn for his future would be if he had none on account of actually being a rapist.  If he isn't, he'll land on his feet.  There is absolutely no pressure on the Bills to feel bad for him.  From their perspective, if he did nothing wrong he'll be fine.  It's all gravy.

What stupid ideas would those be? That a 17 almost 18 y/o has many of the responsibilities an adult has, and the ramifications for their actions can and do affect them and others! Ok, then you understand the dilemma. There is a fine line between “age of consent” laws. I’m Not condoning it, but it’s certainly NOT a situation that was so blatantly obvious! I’ve been to and been (one of) the hosts of some big fucking parties, it’s crazy, and there were always HS kids showing up, and after they’re fucking wasted, you find out they’re 17. And are thinking WTF, and then you have to start I.D.ing at the door to CYA!! If it was forced rape, obviously a very different story, but, again, there is NO WAY to support that story from the DAs words 🤷‍♂️.
