We didn't quite let Nazis stay in Germany, Fascists stay in Italy or Baathists stay in Iraq now did we? In addition to leveling Germany, bombing and shelling ancient monasteries in Italy and reducing Iraq to rubble (and we told the Iraqis and Germans and Italians we were only after their governments), do keep in mind that we boasted on Time magazine that we destroyed Serbia to oust Milosovic for crimes he was later cleared of, Macaroon whines of hitting infrastructure? We cratered Libya and restored the slave trade there to kill Khadaffi and we were doing our damndest to destroy Syria to boot Assad until those fucking commies showed up and took a giant piss on our ISIS pals.

Its not so much tu quo que its good lord we have done thousands times worse to far more countries in less time than Russia ever has.

When you go to war just to take down a few thousand NAZI’s, it totally makes sense that you would also want to destroy the entire Country.

Russia never wanted to destroy Ukraine.

If you want to know who's REALLY responsible for this tragedy take a look in the mirror.

No, I never actually took Putin at his word. But you guys did. He just wanted to get rid of the NAZI's, right?

Putin had 20 years to invade if he wanted to.

Why wait until now?

I asked first.

Your "question" was disingenuous.

Mine isn't.

Oh, please...

dis·in·gen·u·ous
adjective
  1. not candid or sincere, typically by pretending that one knows less about something than one really does.

"When you go to war just to take down a few thousand NAZI’s, it totally makes sense that you would also want to destroy the entire Country.^ - Lit

"Putin had 20 years to invade if he wanted to.

Why wait until now?" - Me

See the difference? If I answer his "question", I de facto have to admit Putin only invaded because of a few thousand Nazis. It's a loaded "question".

    Mine is straight forward.

    Try again.

You don't believe Putin lies, so if his agenda in Ukraine is truly "denazification" then you're not admitting anything you aren't already tacitly admitting when you insist he doesn't lie.

Pretending "denazification" is Putin's only reason for the SMO is also disingenuous.

Ah, so what are his other reasons?

We've all had the opportunity to be well acquainted with Putin's stated reasons.

You know that.

Don't be precious. It's girly.

Huh?

I read this about 20 times with an assortment of various inflections and I still have no fucking idea what your point is.

That’s not an answer!

Sorry, but I don't answer disingenuous "questions".

If you sincerely wish to know my reasoning I'm happy to tell you, but if you're only "asking" to try to trip me up somehow, you can kiss my ass.

To help Lit, but not ICR because the pseudo sentient pile of dog shit is too fucking stupid to be helped, denazification is only a fourth of Putin's war aim.  Demilitarization, the destruction of Ukraine's military and military infrastructure (including dual use such as energy, tranport, and industry); forcing Ukraine's neutrality; protecting the Donbass and Crimea (they took and are digging in to protect the parts of Zaprozhiye and Kherson that provide Crimea its drinking water and electricity) are the other goals of this war.

If they destroy Ukraine's working and reproductive age males in combat, they flatten Ukraine's energy, transport, industry, sectors then Ukraine as a modern state is destroyed much like we destroyed Iraq, Libya, and Syria as modern states.  Putin is not lying and what Lukashenko said does not invalidate or go against anything Putin said. You have nothing, but by all means keep smoking the copium.

Why does one country feel like they should have the right to completely demilitarize another country? Everything in here supports Russia taking over Ukraine and annexing them into becoming Russian - which you said is not true in the past - while supporting their takeover of the Donabass and Crimea?? Would you be OK with Mexico annexing Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California?
