Bi-sexual isn’t really what you are, so, is queer a term that encompasses all sexuality that isn’t defined as strictly straight?

I'm asexual, I don't experience sexual attraction.  I'm also aromantic, meaning I don't experience romantic attraction (this one may be SLIGHTLY inaccurate, I might be demiromantic, but that's still on the aromantic spectrum and would require longer to explain...it's a sidetrack so for now aro is adequate).  

Yes, anyone who isn't straight can identify as queer, it works as an umbrella term.

I had a conversation with many threats of violence, I guess it didn’t like that. I was using it as a teaching moment, and it was obviously all fictional 👍. But, wahhhhhh, Wahhhh. 

Now that I think about it, that was in response to the comment from it that said “I forwarded your picture and all info I have to your local BLM and multiple Twitter BLM groups”, so in actuality he/she/it was threatening violence the whole time!!

Something brain related I'd wager, but I've never investigated the details.  I know that with both homosexuality and transness there's a  good degree of evidence that it's biological.  Basically, there are anomalies in.....I don't know if it's brain chemistry or what exactly, but there are various enzymes or catalysts or whatever that interact with the hormone wash you receive in the womb and that's essentially what determines variance in sexuality or gender identity.  I would assume asexuality is similar.

Asexuality and aromanticism are interesting because there are also (asofyet unofficial, I'm pretty sure) overlaps with autism and ADHD diagnoses.  I don't know if it's a direct "if you're neurodivergent that has implications in unexpected areas" or if it's more that neurodiversity simply inspires a larger degree of introspection/self-scrutiny/etc that leads to personal realizations neurotypical people are less inspired to make, but I am autistic (self-diagnosed) and I have ADHD (not self-diagnosed) so it's a correlation I find fascinating.

Side note on that: gender non-conformity is similarly correlated with autism and ADHD.  I forget the exact figures but it's something like trans people are 3x more likely than cis people to have been diagnosed wih autism and/or ADHD.  It's one of the big reasons I'm concerned for Hip's autistic daughter.  We know- and so does she- that he's willing to beat the shit out of her if she says things he doesn't like.  For her sake, he urgently needs to get over his bigotry.

It's not, no.  Biologists are firmly in my camp that trans people are valid.  I had this conversation with Hip about a month ago.  He misunderstood what "environmental factors" meant and insisted that it was the world around us that contributed to the existence of gay and trans people, but what the study meant by environmental factors was the hormone wash you receive in utero.
