I don’t need to convince you of anything, as if it was even possible because you have an agenda that you will not deviate from. You have a narrative that you will not deviate from. And this is a perfect example. It doesn’t matter if cowboy is a gender, you fucking idiot. The principle is the same. In fact it may be more relevant because a cowboy may be something that is a child feels a calling for, an attraction to in the same way that some children are drawn to music or art. In fact, when I was young I thought I would like to be a truck driver and for 15 years I was one.

A child telling his father that I am a girl does not make a so. Anymore than telling his father I’m a cowboy doesn’t make it so. It only does to you because that’s your agenda. You feel like a child making a gender declaration needs to be nurtured more than a child making a job declaration.

I agree.  If a child with a penis tells her father PERSISTENTLY over an EXTENDED PERIOD that she is a girl, it's not a matter of "she's a girl because she says so" (though that is how gender expression works).  Rather, what I'm trying to help you understand is that she says so because she is a girl.  

A young trans girl who doesn't tell anyone she's a girl IS still a girl.  The determining factor is her persistent sincere belief over a prolonged period.  The saying-so isn't the determining factor for anything but social recognition of this fact.
