Nope, never been in a fist fight.  The closest I've come is a shoving match I started in 6th grade with a kid who bullied me.

Most wimps who get punched in the head a lot don't typically fight back

I’m literally shocked that IC is so disillusioned that he thinks garbage men would continue to trudge around in snow and muck, hauling your shit, for the good of humanity.

Or doctors would continue stuffing cameras up your asshole to look for cancerous polyops, for the good of humanity.

Pay not required.

You could do this same comparison for thousands of jobs.

His plan is hilariously bad.

Next time I bring my vehicle to the mechanic and he hands me the bill, i’m going to write on it “paid in full by the good of humanity” and see if he is cool with it.

THIS is where the laughing emoji would come in

Exactly.  And now the incentive is "do what your boss demands and you won't starve."

Actually the incentive is do what it takes to excel at your chosen - not forced - job in order to climb the ladder to better pay, better positions and if you cannot find the satisfaction or pay-level you're looking for, you can choose to look for better options, but the point is that successful companies realize that everyone on every level work together to succeed. Or, buy a tent and a sleeping bag and find a warm place to live in the better sections of downtown Los Angeles...

Yes, those types of careers are the exception.  I am not satisfied with a system that expects you to be exceptional to avoid the exploitative dynamic at the heart of capitalism.

Certainly not when people a great deal smarter than you have come up with alternatives

No, you're too stupid to realize that when someone refuses to learn anything above the level of a garbage man, then that person is predesignating themselves to be a fucking garbage man

I can't believe how ignorant people can be. Musk bought Twitter for one reason, and one reason only, which was to use Twitter as a political weapon. He's a Trump acolyte and therefore almost immediately reinstated Trump. And anyone falling for that sham vote to reinstate him is a moron.

So why censor the view?  PERSONALLY YOUR RACISM AND MISOGYNY IS FAR MORE OFFENSIVE THAN ANY WORDS.

I pray for the demise of Musk as he moves farther and farther  to the extreme right and works to turn Twitter into a fascist, democracy hating site, and adopting Trumps modus operandi of lies and propaganda.

Like Trump, Musk hates democracy.

No.  That's the monetary incentive.  How would people make career decisions if money didn't exist and your needs were fulfilled regardless of what you chose to do for a living?  Obviously then you'd go by what makes you the most spiritually fulfilled, and that's going to differ for everybody.

They wouldn’t.

That’s the answer.

A certain percentage of the population that are like you - probably less than 3% - would do so.

The rest would say “fuck that”.

I'm sure there will also be plenty of jobs that are municipally obligatory

“Municipally obligatory”

For those following along at home, that means “your forced to do it”.

The guy mad about bosses being slave drivers wants the government to force you into a job.

Nothing has changed, we are slaves with extra steps. Capitalism has existed for only a few hundred years.

We have only had 3 methods of economy:

1) Capitalism

2) Ruling class and caste

3) Communism

Those are the only 3 options.

Capitalism is the most free of the 3 options, which is why every free country in the world uses it.

They’re actually not.

There are thousands of examples of careers just like that which no one would want to do anymore if money wasn’t involved. The motivation would be gone.

From garbage men, to asbestos removers, to miners, to sewer pumpers, to geriatric care cleaning up elderly peoples piss and shit, to slaughterhouse workers, to toilet cleaners, to animal masturbator and inseminators, the list could go on and on and on.

The world is littered with crap jobs that no one would take if not for money. Jobs that have no “spiritual value” to anyone that is not insane.

Wrong!

Back to school with you.

I'm seriously disappointed in you Lit. You should know they're not the same.

It's not like you're one of the innumerable half wit right wingers here. At least I thought you weren't'

Next time try googling.

"Unlike in communism, a socialist economic system rewards individual effort and innovation. Social democracy, the most common form of modern socialism, focuses on achieving social reforms and redistribution of wealth through democratic processes, and can co-exist alongside a free-market capitalist economy."

It is communism.

I am right in the middle but lean a tad bit left at times. But yeah, socialism is literally a subset of anarcho communism.

If that was the case, why isn’t Trump mostly Rudolph? In the United States if he was a Trump acolyte you would think he would be working on behalf of Donald Trump.

The only reason he reinstated him was to antagonize people and draw his supporters back to being more active on Twitter again

Lit, denial is not a river in Egypt.

No matter what you wish to believe, they are indeed not the same.

The Right has long been trying to equate them as being the same, sadly many Americans have bought into the lie. Do you think Bernie Sanders is a communist than?

Do your own research buddy, it's amazing what you can learn.

And Babylon Bee, and Kanye, and James Lindsay, and Jordan Peterson....he's also removed transphobia from the TOS because he's mad that Chelsea Manning fucked his wife and his daughter hates him.

He's a reactionary using his enormous wealth to enable the exact kind of harassment I've been telling people here leads to violence since I came back in May.

You guys are so ignorant.

I could say "stupid" because with the internet it's so easy to research this stuff, but I'm trying to be nice. Next you guys are now gonna try telling  me that 'ignorant' and 'stupid' are the same thing.

You guys gotta get it through your heads:  Ignorance is not a virtue.

Sad.
