I used to, but I was mass reported for calling someone stupid and dishonest.

3 weeks later she said Nazis were in Heaven because the souls inhabiting the bodies of their victims all chose to be Holocaust victims in some prenatal cosmic realm, so....I believe I absolutely fucking nailed it.

Lol. Not surprised. You got censored by libs.

Well it wasn't libs that mass reported me, it was Trump supporters and Libertarians (a different kind of Lib, technically!) but yeah liberals predominantly side with you guys over the left when forced to make a choice.

Lol. If you say so.

I agree. But unfortunately socialist think you are NOT entitled to have whatever it is you worked hard for even if it's in the billions.  You can't have or live your dreams even if it's extravagant.

Fuck that

NiN and RATM have always been based, and it's so funny every time someone on the right realizes that for the first time.

The same as it is now: because that's how they help make peoples' lives better, and helping to make peoples' lives better gives them a sense of purpose.

You clearly haven’t been in a school or university recently.

My sister is a principal.

Most teachers don’t give a shit about any of that. And doctors surely dont. Nor do pharmaceutical companies. Or athletes. Or surgeons. Blah blah blah. There would be no motivation left. Your plan sucks.

Most teachers do it because even though the money is only “good” for the time worked, they get 3 months off every year AND the pension in most states for public jobs is quite appealing. They’re also off of work by 3pm most days.

Thats the motivation.

I’m literally shocked that IC is so disillusioned that he thinks garbage men would continue to trudge around in snow and muck, hauling your shit, for the good of humanity.

Or doctors would continue stuffing cameras up your asshole to look for cancerous polyops, for the good of humanity.

Pay not required.

You could do this same comparison for thousands of jobs.

His plan is hilariously bad.

Next time I bring my vehicle to the mechanic and he hands me the bill, i’m going to write on it “paid in full by the good of humanity” and see if he is cool with it.

Exactly.  And now the incentive is "do what your boss demands and you won't starve."

Or start your own company.

Farm land and sell food.

Create trinkets that others need.

Tutor others in a skill you have.

So many ways to make money besides having a boss.

The problem with your fantasy land will ALWAYS be motivation.

No.  That's the monetary incentive.  How would people make career decisions if money didn't exist and your needs were fulfilled regardless of what you chose to do for a living?  Obviously then you'd go by what makes you the most spiritually fulfilled, and that's going to differ for everybody.

I'm sure there will also be plenty of jobs that are municipally obligatory but less....shall we say "spiritually attractive" as others, but we can create civic benefits and rewards for doing those jobs that have nothing to do with actual monetary compensation.  Wouldn't it be great if the social admiration that goes to dipshits like Elon went to the local waste management workers instead?

Wow, you're right, some jobs suck more than others and the people who do them deserve special recognition and some sort of alternative to remuneration.  No anarcho-communist has ever considered this!

You're so arrogantly fucking retarded you've somehow convinced yourself that it's more rational to assume anarchists are all SUPERNATURALLY stupid than it is to assume people who literally make a career out of thinking about things thought of your swamp-level critique and must therefore not be writing books and essays advocating for a world where it goes unaddressed.

Sort of, yes.  I am an anarcho-communist, so I don't want "Communist America" because in an anarcho-communist world America wouldn't exist.  No states would.

Workers would democratically govern their own workplaces, neighbors would help provide for each other, communities would establish trade with other communities to make sure everyone's needs are fulfilled, and once they are you'd get to live a comfortable and MUCH less stressful life.

You wouldn't need to worry about health insurance.  If you need to see a doctor or get medication or whatever, you can.

You wouldn't need to go into debt to pursue an education.  Training for various trades would be widely available.  Ideally you'd be free to pursue the career you find most meaningful.  Do you want to be an anthropologist?  Great!  Do you want to create beautiful art or compose beautiful music?  Wonderful!  Do you enjoy working with your hands and want to get into mechanical engineering?  Carpentry?  Plumbing? Repair?  You'll be lauded and respected as a vital cog of keeping your community happy, healthy, and thriving.

Believe me, I know you're all convinced this is a pipe dream.  Fret not!  It absolutely cannot happen within your lifetime.  The society I'm talking about is at MINIMUM a century away from being feasibly manifested.

Instead, what we need to do today is address poverty and income inequality.  REALLY address it.  And one of the uncomfortable truths people need to acknowledge is that if you let billionaires continue to exist, they will continue to amass enough exorbitant wealth to buy politicians' loyalty and dissuade them from getting in the way of their unrelenting consolidation of wealth in a society where wealth = power.

Yes, those types of careers are the exception.  I am not satisfied with a system that expects you to be exceptional to avoid the exploitative dynamic at the heart of capitalism.

Certainly not when people a great deal smarter than you have come up with alternatives.
