Oakville Trafalgar High School receives second bomb threat Halton Police say the school received an email with “similar tones” as the one they received yesterday, which specifically outlined bomb threats (Emily Tayler/CHCH News). There was another threatening email sent to Oakville Trafalgar High School on Thursday, prompting a police presence at the school once again. Halton Police say the school received an email with “similar tones” as the one they received yesterday, which specifically outlined bomb threats. Police attended the school and deemed it safe for students and staff to attend. They say the investigation is still ongoing at this time and no arrests have been made. The troublesome emails come after the Halton District School Board released a review stating that they will not be taking any action against a transgender shop teacher who has been wearing large prosthetic breasts in class. The teacher’s appearance upset some of the students at the school, saying it’s distracting and inappropriate. The images shared of the teacher online lead to a protest at the school on Sept. 23 where participants got rowdy, saying children should be protected. The Halton District School Board said in their review of the faculty dress code that it is not taking any action, citing human rights concerns.
