What the Polish Think of the Russians and Why

This Polak came home one day from work, hung up his coat, took
off his hat and walked into his bedroom shouting "honey I am home!"
What should he see but his best friend in bed with his wife.
Infuriated, he rushed to the cupboard, pulled out his gun and put it
to his head. His wife started laughing.
"Don't laugh!" he screams. "You're next!"

Poland and Russia are the Hatfields and McCoys.  We really should not take the word of either one when it comes to the other.  Some months ago, I posted that Poland and Russia both have the mindset, when it comes to each other, do them good and hard before they do to you good and hard.

Seems like if you believed this and had a sincere concern about nuclear annihilation you'd be deeply opposed to any efforts by Russia to bring their borders closer to Poland's.

Well Putin said, at the start of the war that he has no territorial ambitions in Ukraine and apart from Zaprozhiye and Kherson (where your non existent Nazi friends blocked off water and electricity to the Ukrainians in Crimea [seriously, if you viewed a region as part of your country why would you cut it off from electricity and water]) and the Donbass (which Putin said the aim of the war is to protect from genocide) he has not occupied Ukrainian land.

Yeah, he said the goals of the war were to denazify Ukraine, demilitarize it, protect Russian sovereignty (by which he means Crimea and its water and electricity) and stop the genocide in the Donbass.  He also said he had no plans to occupy Ukraine.  Yeah, those are his words, he has not lied, and so your view that he is going to move his borders closer to Poland are a useless strawman argument.

Vladimir Putin is a head of state, and you're telling me that granting the premise that he cannot be trusted to tell the unvarnished truth about his geopolitical agenda is a bridge too far?  You might as well say you still believe in Santa Claus.  That might genuinely be less embarrassing!

Literally every head of state in the history of this planet has lied about their geopolitical agenda.  You are so detached from reality that you think your special politics daddy is the only honest politics daddy.  Stop having politics daddies!  They're all bad!

Polish airline coming in for an emergency landing at the airport pitch the landing strip, pulls back on the sticks and hammers down on the bricks and comes to a stop right at the end of the runway. Pilot says, “That’s the shortest runway I’ve ever seen!”

Copilot looks to the left then looks to the right and says “Yeah, widest, too!”
