Stone and Bannon admitted to the plan to deny the election before the actual election, Trump executed the plan, carried on the lie for months and the lie was the basis of the riot. It 100% is on Trump. Being charged with "Insurrection" or not is immaterial and semantics. Facts are facts. This is the biggest point of contention when it comes to Republicans, whether they support Donald Trump or not. Which is a misleading statement because they all support Donald Trump when it comes to him or any Democrat. And that is the blatant refusal to acknowledge his misdeeds. When Donald Trump said he could shoot a man at 54th Ave., that was the most prophetic thing anybody has said since biblical times. Almost any Republican will come out with when it comes to criticizing Donald Trump is usually along the lines of “I wish he didn’t run his mouth so much.“ Thankfully, that trend seems to be changing since he announced another run at the White House. Because nobody seems to care. Other than very rare instances, I have not seen any real positive reaction from anybody about him running again. And in most cases the response to his announcement is that they’re going to vote for DeSantis and then he needs to step aside. My personal opinion is that I hope he does not step aside because it will be much more satisfying watching DeSantis shred him. While they may both be cut from similar cloth, DeSantis has some thing that Donald Trump doesn’t; political awareness and a lack of intimidation by Donald Trump. NYP: "Florida Man Makes Announcement" reads a blurb across the bottom of the front page. "There is nobody who knows better than Rupert Murdoch that the way to upset Trump is to not use his name." There were people who attended the meetings at that hotel, whatever the name is where they preplanned all of this before the election. His own kids have admitted that he would not listen to them when they tried to tell him that he lost, and instead he kept pushing the lie. It was that lie about losing the election that was the foundation of the attack on the capital. Charles Manson never actually killed anybody but the lies he told manipulated other people to kill in his name. It’s the same principle. That’s why Manson spent the rest of his life in prison.
