Just when I think you can't get any stupider, you pull out this gem cementing that you have no clue how NFL football teams operate.

I think we have several issues going on here simultaneously.  1st. The last 4 pick Allen gas had were absolutely horrendous and completely on Allen. 2nd.  The Oline sucks donkey dick at running.  3rd our platoon of smallish backs ain't it.  4th our Dline got its ass handed to them in the run game these last 2 games. 5th Dorsey needs a more balanced GameDay playbook.. 6th Mcd needs to light a fire under the teams ass.  This team lost yesterday due to arrogance.

I noticed, and others have too, just how much is put on Allen's shoulders. Everyone mentions the run game, but it seems to me that if the run game doesn't get off to a good start, like within the first 2-3 drives, Dorsey simply abandons the run game....seems to me that in a close game that maybe they should try to keep the run game going, even if it's not working the defense will have to account for it and it'd open up the passing game....he just seems to abandon it way to quickly

Do we have a Diggs on the OL? We had a Teller. That first RedZone pick was that too much on his shoulders? What's up wth this run of short side arm picks?

Best post on the thread.

No lies detected. I'm concerned about the childish picks Allen has thrown. Ditto for the Dick Jauron era run D.

To think, they easily could have gotten Creed Humphrey instead of Basham...KC saw that the O-line was a problem in the friggin Superbowl and went out and got Thuney, Brown and Humphrey in the same off-season....the Bills, bring back Ryan Bates and sign a 34 year old G and Allen has to make plays happen

I have been pounding the table for a number of years for OLine....I honestly do not know why McDermott (and Beane) have taken the approach they have over those years of trying to bring in journeymen OLinemen.  There has been a revolving door at the position.  Some were truly slugs.

As far as drafting guys, sure 3rd round Spencer Brown and 5th round Tommy Doyle were good shots to take, but where are the 1st and 2nd round OLinemen?

I’m concerned Dorsey knows Allen is his fast track ticket to becoming a HC and is gonna use him up to get there ASAP. He won’t have any use for Allen after a year or two when he’s a HC and doesn’t care what kind of condition he leaves him in.

Daboll hitched his wagon to Allen, and Dorsey will do the same.

So if Mahomes has a bad game, who do they lean on???

It’s a QB driven league! When your QB has a bad game, yes you can expect to lose!

That’s every team in the NFL these days.

Tell me who relies on their running game anymore.

Come on.

Jet's, Giants, 49er's, just to name a few. It's not that anybody relies solely on a running game, they just know that it's important and will use it to keep defenses honest. Which is exactly what the Bill's should have been doing since Singletary arrived. If your OC cannot get your running backs involved in the game, or refuses to, time to get a new OC.

Stop watching football because it’s not the sport for you.

Davis is a top 20 WR in the NFL.

End of discussion.

Wrong.  He’s third string at best.  Made to look good by Allen putting passes right into his bread basket, which he drops of course.  The guy doesn’t create separation and doesn’t have a complete route tree.  Not saying he can’t develop but with the attention defenses give to a number two wr he becomes a none factor.  As a third or fourth option he’s dangerous.  Maybe you should learn football before you critique others.

Agree…I just wish our talent on offense would have been upgraded so Allen and Diggs don’t have to do all the heavy lifting.

They have the talent on offense, you don't score 30 plus points a game without having any talent. They have a running game as well. The problem is that they just seem to want to go away from it. And I consider short passes to your running backs to be part of the running game. 3 to 5 yards per touch is pretty successful, and Singletary is averaging about 4.5 yards per carry. Get him the ball.
