So why haven't the churches ended homelessness in this country?

Why haven’t the Republicans?

Yeah, you’ve posted this before. It means that the government can’t make law preventing you from religious right. You don’t read so well.

Respecting the establishment of religion or preventing free exercise thereof.

it’s exactly what I just said. They can’t tell you who to worship.

I might want some clarification on that because to me it reads like the government cannot use religion to establish a basis of governing.

The US Constitution

Should I keep going?

Fun fact: if you translate "in the year of our lord" into Latin it becomes "anno domini".

Funner fact: If you abbreviate "anno domini" it becomes "A.D."

It literally is just part of the the date: September 17, 1787 A.D.

What porn books? citation needed.

Muslims trying to ban books are just like Christians trying to ban books, I don't support either.

At least you're starting to see the parallels between Christian theocracy and sharia law.

Yeah, I guess caring for our children is something both share. You want to sexualize them you freak.

Exactly!! This my understanding of separation of church and state. Freedom of religion, and Church doesn’t run the state and state doesn’t run the church. I read once that the Catholic Church started confession because they wanted to know everything about everyone giving them power over the state.

Muslim and Christian extremists have a lot in common, such as oppressing women, demonizing LGBTQ people, and forcing laws on people based on their religious texts.

Yup, it means year of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, Amen!!

Do you think this aids your point, or do you think maybe they were just using a conventional dating model that was about 800 years old at the time and is not an indication that they were about to create an explicitly Christian nation?

Well, considering they were mostly Christian I think it helps.

Only 3 Presidents didn’t swear in on the Bible. George Washington kissed it at his swearing in. So help me God!!
