Children's playground hit in Kyiv attack, Ukrainian official says Several explosions have hit the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, on October 10. Others have chronic illnesses that preclude travel. Say you have a kid with Type 1 Diabetes and you're afraid that language barriers could inhibit your ability to get them insulin in another country. Oh shiva, its even simpler than that. There were air raid sirens going off all over Kiev. Now think about this, what parent would let their kids continue playing during an air raid? If these were your kids wouldn't you at least try to get them to at least some sort of shelter? This story is propaganda that appeals to emotion. On the surface its compelling and makes you say "damn those Russian bastards!" Then you step back and say wait a minute, children at play while air raid sirens are going off?
