Now to be sure, a lot of this was because the Soviet government; due to the single most effective psyop of the 20th century, the Abwehr planting fabricated intelligence in the Czech foreign ministry that convinced Stalin his army officer corps and intel network was full of traitors, liquidated its military and intel leadership.  Furthermore, during the most disastrous years of the war 1941-42 the Soviet army was in transition and was using obsolete weapons and Soviet industry had not yet gotten onto a war footing.  As a side note, Stalin was told by his economic advisors and military planners that the USSR would not be ready for war until 1943 and as such he ignored any intel that told him the war was coming in 1941.  This wasn't hubris or arrogance, it was a fervent hope that the Nazis wouldn't attack until 1943.

Anyways, the Soviet Union suffered the most dead (even after Stalingrad and Kursk and Bagration where they proved overwhelmingly they still suffered the most casualties of any other beligerent state).  So why did they have high casualties even after they went on the offensive? Well its because 

 

Exhibit B:

Nach Osten.  Go to any German military cemetery for WWII and most of the crosses say killed nach osten.  3 out of every 4 German casualties were on the eastern front

 

Exhibit C: Mein Kampf, Jewish Bolshevism (that's communism for you twits out there) was labeled by this one guy named Adolf Hitler as the biggest threat to Germany.

Now if Communism and Nazism are the same, why the hell did they spend four years committing mass murder against each other and each other's civilians.  

Lastly, a little pro tip.  Here in this country when you call someone a Fascist or a Nazi its because you are just being a dick.  In a former Soviet state, when you call someone a nazi or fascist its a slur with the poignancy of the N word or C word here, not Communist but Spiked's favorite curse word.  When Zelensky calls Putin a Nazi or Fascist or when Putin calls Zelensky the same its not banter or for show, its the most bitter slur they can think of.  Its not a term that is used lightly.  So if you seriously think communist and nazi are the same you really are a special kind of stupid

The problem here is that the Soviet Union wasn't communist.  Communism is a stateless, classless, moneyless society.  The very notion of a PATRIOTIC war under communist philosophy is inherently contradictory.

Stalin was absolutely a fascist.  He and Hitler hated each other because fascists are stupid and incompetent.

They happened, but he was adamant about re-opening, and getting kids back to school. He warned everyone that not opening back up was going to crush the economy, and he was right.

Democrats were the ones desperately hanging onto and refusing to ease off of the lockdowns and mandates.
