You understand this is insane bigotry, right?   What made you hate the people of Ukraine so much that you don't even believe they're capable of autonomous decision making?

I don't hate them, I hate their fucking government, I have made that more than obvious.  You hate them so much you won't even respect their right to get out of an abusive situation and join Russia.  I do care for Ukraine but their government can roast in hell and so can the bastards in Washington that tell their government what to do.

We're not talking about their government.  We're talking about the Euromaidan protesters.  I asked you why they started protesting, and you called them puppets.  Not government officials.  Citizens.

What do you think Victoria Nuland's $5 billion dollar slush fund was for?

More people than just Hunter Biden were getting paid off.

I don't see any difference in whose side of the fence the fight is on.

Ukraine asked for it.

They sold their souls to the Devil.

Can't whine when you wind up in Hell.

If your best argument is to present Russia's foreign policy as "look what you made me do" then you don't have an argument that can convince me to stand with you.

I don't expect to convince you of anything as it's obvious this is a tribal issue for you.

Isn't it?

No, it's fundamentally ideological.  I support Ukraine for the same reason I support Palestine.  I oppose the Russian invasion for the same reason I opposed the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.  Because the victims of military occupation were, inevitably, the proletariat.  Wealthy people have the resources to flee dangerous areas.  Working class people do not.

The people in the Donbass agree with your platitude but wonder why you neglect to apply this reasoning to them.

If the people in the Donbas truly wished for independence I'd support a referendum to demonstrate that.  If Ukraine and NATO sabotaged the authenticity of that referendum the way Russia sabotaged the authenticity of Crimea's, I'd oppose them.

Do you really think the people in Crimea would rather be Ukrainian than Russian?

What possible reason would they have?

I couldn't say, I'm not Crimean.  But if Russia felt the need to run a sham referendum instead of a legitimate one, that tells me one of two things:

1) They knew they couldn't win a free and fair election

2) They're so pathologically corrupt that they should not be trusted.

You have yet to explain how it was a "sham" referendum.

The reasons why Crimea's voted the way they did are easy to understand.

You are fundamentally anti-empiricist, why the fuck would I waste my time sourcing what I say to a piece of shit who doesn't even believe I'm me?

Aww, are you having a hard time maintaining the charade?
