DeSantis sent 50 migrants to Martha's Vineyard by plane as an anti-liberal stunt. The locals pulled together to help them.

After the virtual signalers in Martha's vineyard had their photo op with the immigrants...they ship them to cape cod because they couldn't house 50 immigrants in a place the takes in 150K tourists each summer.

They all would have fit in Obummers empty home.

Such wonderful rich people.  Lol.

Never forget that dUh LiBz ran to defend those wealthy, ultra white, and in many cases elites and supported their efforts to ship  out those brown people immediately

They supported white supremacy at that moment

And that is typically the places where you will find it...at the towns and homes of the wealthiest.

Not at the diverse cities and towns where these people interact with each other at their neighborhood stores and at their places of work

DeSantis was a true genius for doing what he did, and those migrants will now receive more attention...which will likely help them find housing and work.

Have I ever advocated the US should be a dictatorship like Venezuela?

Nope.

You're a socialist. Every socialist nation has turned into a dictatorship which is why it never worked. Duh!

Give me a break.

They just dont want them.

They'll give them a cot for a day or two, but thats about it.

This thread he created blew up in his face. He's gasping for air trying to defend the greedy actions of the virtual signalers.

They want immigrants as long as they are not in their neighborhood.

F8, the champion for the oppressed and less fortunate defended wealthy, ultra white liberals in their rejection of brown people in their town, and supported shipping them to those evil conservatives/racists/white supremacists in Cape Cod.

It's amazing when you think about it

I didn't realize they were obligated to put them in their homes. I'm sure most communities would "not want" bus loads of immigrants dropped off on the street with zero notice.

So you want to fill up the homeless shelters(which are in many instances already full of American citizens)!? Many of these people will be in dire straits for many years to come.

WTF I'm referring to is that Desantis misused Tax Funds to send these people to Martha's Vineyard. He used Covid Relief money that was specifically limited in how it could be used. Also, they lied to the people about where they were going and what they would get which is one of the foundations of human trafficking - forcing people into situations based on false pretenses.

When Biden was doing it was when I made my post about building a prison-style wall from the Pacific to the Gulf, btw.

So calling out the hypocrisy of the left without pointing it out on the right is actually hypocritical in itself

Hipkat proven to be wrong and listening to media lies, once again

But Joe Biden flew migrants all across the US

You mean this??

The Biden administration is restarting what are known as “lateral flights,” in which migrants crossing into the U.S. from Mexico in one area are transported to another part of the border and often sent back into Mexico from there, according to two immigrant advocacy groups familiar with the government’s decision.

Immigrants could be flown from the busy Rio Grande Valley or Del Rio, Texas, sectors into El Paso, for example, and then sent back across the border from there. Del Rio is 372 miles by air from El Paso.

The practice has been criticized by immigration advocates who say it makes some immigrants believe they will be able to stay in the U.S., only to find themselves expelled into an area of Mexico where they have no connections or resources to help them.

Get your facts straight

Nice try at spinning this, but Martha’s Vineyard residents don’t want them either.

Don't want or can't house? And the "in the spare room" excuse is bullshit

This is why I try to stay right in the middle politically.

I don’t ever want to reach a point where i’m so far to one side that I can’t see the truth.

Funny how the guy who looked this is a severe example of being too fat to one side to see the truth

Are they supposed to adopt them?? These people need professional advocates not some welcoming millionaire with a cot. Not to mention that would be harboring someone who is here illegally

Sounds like the residents of Martha's Vineyard would have the means to help these people.   Why do they not?

I'm not interested in political points; I want these people to get the help that most of us cannot afford.  I wish you saw people as individual lives that have meaning and worth.

Sadly, Leftist philosophies Balkanize people into faceless, one- dimensional tribes.  This is how it starts.

It could start differently.   As Seth Brundle mused about becoming the 'first insect politician', you could become the 'first liberal humanitarian'.

The year round community on Martha’s Vineyard is a working class community. It’s relatively isolated and the ultimate services these 50 need are better served on the mainland

Apparently @LiterateStylish is an enlightened centrist now. He's going to find the middle ground between the facists and the normies.
