Not true.   I've bolded your error.

anytime the left wants public utilities or services, the right says "how will you pay for it". literally everything.

For the second bolded, prove your assertion.

You want me to list countries that have universal healthcare and high speed rail?

1)  It's a fair question.

2)  I can vote with my feet

3)  That's not necessarily success.

The RS is nearly twice as much as I paid for my Camaro.   465 km = 289 miles.   600 miles is the needed universal range - unless charging times are decreased or there is a swappable, parallel battery solution.

The industry will get there; unless government mandates we buy them.   Then they'll never improve

taxes. tax the rich. not people with a million in retirement saved. I'm talking about the people who have enough money to blow on sending people to space for 5 minutes.

I will just give you a 👍 for a truthful post. Government intervention (I.e. regulation) RARELY, if ever adds efficiency to any start-finish procedure, “model of in-efficiency”. And it ALWAYS stifles R&D!

government intervention keeps poison out of consumer products and sets acceptable standards. government also limits child labor and worker exploitation.

We can debate whether or not the infrastructure for electric exists, but the fact still remains that the United States is well behind other first world countries in public transportation. Look at China and some of the European countries that have speed rail. They invested in public transportation and are reaping the benefits from it. In the US we just decide to add another lane to the highway. Fucking pathetic.

China also has cornered the market on bicycle ridership.

I have a better idea, we should ramp up taxes on everybody making $1 less than your yearly income, Somewhere a homeless person is saying, "im talking about the people who have enough money to blow on a house and a car". See how stupid that gets? Stop trying to penalize and demonize people who became wealthy from hard work and sacrifice. The last thing an inefficient wasteful government needs is more money from job creators and hard working Americans. Government needs to downsize and get more efficient.
