Honestly, vids like this are a whole lotta nothing.  LGBTQ+ and the abortion/reproductive rights/to life issues are sooooo much fucking distraction from big ticket items such as protecting voting rights, imperialism, an unaudited MIC, an increasingly intrusive and pervasive intelligence and security state, failing education system, crumbling infrastructure, climate change (yeah its real and its going to get a lot worse, and may not get better), economics, living costs (housing, food, gas), healthcare and the like.  Our nation is in so much trouble that we can't afford these distractions.

Frankly, I don't have time to play bathroom patrol and worry about which consenting adult is sleeping with which consenting adult and in what combination.

I think that's the purpose of the movement.  It takes peoples' eyes off the ball and blurs the line between what is real and what is not.  If you can believe that a woman is man, or a bird, or whatever then you're likely to go along with anything.

It makes a difference to parents like myself. I don't want to confuse my kids with delusional  thoughts and have them turn out like those on the video. 

Our school system is getting ruined by libs indoctrinating children.

1) You may not believe this, but as a parent you do have a lot of influence on whether or not your kids are confused by the "delusional thoughts" displayed on these videos.  I ain't kidding you.  You and your wife or baby mama, don't know if you are married or not, can actually go a long way towards how your kids view lgbtq+ people.  

2) Look, I am very uncomfortable with drag queens reading to children or schools promoting Trans gender and homosexuality and that would be enough to cause me to put my kids in a private school or to home school them.

3) That said, how common is the teaching of this stuff? Admittedly, I haven't been in a public school since 2001 when I got my diploma but I know several people with kids and they haven't reported this happening here.  It seems like something that is mostly confined to Boston, NYC, Chicago land, and  parts of California but not common in most other locales.

Actually parents ARE the main reason  how kids are influenced and grow. It's a fact. Looks at inner city kids. No fathers.... the street will take over their parenting.

There was no father in my home, and what a shock, there was no homosexuality, no promiscuity, no criminal record regardless of what people think of my stance on our defense and foreign policy, no dropping out of high school or university, I own my own home, have my own car, have a decent paying career, and if not for a personal tragedy in 2010 and the shutting down for a couple years of all social life due to Corona fears I would probably be married and have a couple kids by now.

 

Now I may be the exception to the rule, but I am not so sure the absence of a father in the home is to blame.  Oh sure, it's a contributing factor but not sure it's the only one.

Wasn't implying absence of a father will lead to homosexuality .it is advantageous for a boy to have good man teach him how to be a man.

Yes, but you said look at inner city kids, they grow up without fathers. . . . I grew up in the inner city.  Troost is the dividing line and I grew up just west of it in a blue collar neighborhood.  The streets didn't teach me shit.  Would I have been better off had my father not passed when I was in Kindergarten? Maybe, maybe not.  My point is I grew up fine.  Trying to say not having a father in the home is the root cause of all social problems and phenomena is oversimplistic.  So again, its a contributing factor, but not sure it is THE factor.  Again, I grew up fine.  Yet, I know products of nuclear families that are high school drop outs, junkies, criminals, have lots of baby mammas, and some are gay.  I am not and yet they are so is it really the family dynamic that is to blame for how fucked up our society is?
