I fully support Reparations and yes the money needs to be directed toward education for the most part.

Of course, Natives/Aboriginals/North American Indians should receive them as well and in Canada, in essence we are doing that.  It must be limited and directed to the proper hands since corruption among a race is a real thing.  Seen it many times.

I would be weary of opening that education fund to all poor people since its purpose would then be lost.  I have no interest in providing funding to White Trash in Alabama.

blacks have already been given enormous amounts of money to improve their education systems. so far that has mostly failed because many blacks ridiculously see education as the "white" way to do things. good old fashioned racism standing in the way of seeing whats good for them. much of that money was also stolen

so if you give money to everybody except whites, the resentment will cause ten times more problems than any benefit you will get even if the proper proportion of blacks are ready to take education seriously and drop their racist resistance to it. youre just asking for big trouble if you exclude only whites

conversely, if you make the fund available to all based on need, blacks are still going to be overrepresented because they are among the poorest of races. and if you are strict with achievement requirements, you eliminate the ones who just want to go and party (i hated people who did that when i was working my ass off through college) and the money goes to the ones who maintain at least an average performance level. if blacks really wanted to take advantage of the fund created specifically acknowledging the sins against them, then they would take their education seriously and succeed enough to finish and get their degree or certification or license or whatever. they lose nothing if they seriously apply themselves even if all races get to apply for it. perhaps best of all, it would naturally bring the races closer together bc they all are benefitting from the same program that everybody knows acknowledges past sins against blacks and acts as an apology

The money would be given for the specific groups -- Blacks and Aboriginals -- that you mentioned for education earmarked for the specific purpose of readdressing historical injustices.

I think I came back with open eyes knowing your history however in this specific situation we are talking about an Ignore List function that worked 2 weeks ago now NOT working and it simply needs to be fixed.

For you to NOT to fix it intentionally is childish. 

Just be an adult and fix the damn thing.

With respect to the Ignore List function NOT working on posters who are tenured more than 10 years it must be an easy fix as well.  To tell me it was always that way is bullshit.  That feature must have been actively chosen at some point for some reason.  Simply undo that choice.  I am a 10+ year tenured poster.  Other posters should have the choice to put me on Ignore.  I welcome that.  Instead, I am discovering a growing list of older posters that cannot be put on Ignore in The Chat Box and outside the Chat Box.  So I have assholes like "The Climber" and "RichX" following me around the board trolling me and I can't simply put them on ignore so I don't have to read their nonsense.

To me since I added 20 posters onto the Ignore List in Chat Box where it works, the Chat Box is readable.  I actually enjoy it.  It is not a toxic swamp.

The above is just a reasonable request.

Instead, you are pretending not to read my numerous PMs to you asking you to fix the problem.
