Last weeks games were way better.

These games are close in score, yet somehow still boring.

True.

Also how convenient that what looked to be a blowout in Arrowhead became a nail bitter in 30 minutes time. And now we have another barn burner with 1:46 left….

let’s see what goofy ass shit goes down now…

Have you guys noticed the last two weekends the announcers of these games will say that. Like ad nauseam? Last week I was like well yeah…but today…on multiple times..Romo and Aikman will just randomly out of the blue want to remind us…hEy tHeSe gAmeS hAve beEn GooD hAvEnT tHEy?

No shit moron I have eyes. Everyone including their grandma knows this.

and each time it seemed forced or scripted. Like the fucks in the NFL’s front office sent them a memo to keep reminding their audience the greatness and the glory that is the NFL.

Goodell still jerking off over last weeks ratings.

One doesn't have to be TWD, even before the post season, to understand why they might be pushing a certain narrative.  6 games in a row with exciting finishes, what are the odds?  EDIT: right before the AFC game, the term "perfectly scripted" was used.  I just wonder what kind of bar coincidence theorists set as their breaking point, or if they don't have one and accept anything given to them?

I'm not stating anything, other than possibilities and the dearth of critical thinking in our society, which is not limited to just sports entertainment, unfortunately.

If anyone has the quote from Gladiator about what you can do to society as long as you keep them entertained(Huxley over Orewell so far), especially a video clip of it, I'd be very grateful.

Andy did you hear about this one?-REM . "I don't think I'm easy to talk about. I've got a very irregular head. And I'm not anything that you think I am anyway". -Syd Barrett, founder of Pink Floyd. @seandelevanI know I give you a hard time for you ragging on the Bills as if the molested your pet, but I sincerely appreciate you for noticing things like that(I didn't even catch it, likely too distracted by the sh*tbox).  In this society it can be a survival mechanism to notice such things.  While the "perfectly scripted" and whatever the Bengals owner said about how they were("set up"? I dont recall at the moment) were likely coincidences, I'm going to pay attention to see if similar language gets used going forward, though it's kind of late for it now.

I did enjoy Chris Collinsworth going on throughout the whole LA vs LV game about the very unlikely possibility of OT and a TIE(and alluding a bit to a conspiracy, which would screw PIT), and then found it amusing how close it came to happening.  He was being quite analytical about it, and you could tell he was PURPOSEFULLY enunciating certain things like how the Raiders kicker was "money" as he was about to kick for the win in OT, in case an improbable miss happened.  I made a point to get a copy of that game, in case I wanted to check it out again.   The Chargers extremely improbably comeback cost me a lot of money(how many 4th downs did they complete on that final drive?

Anyone see the movie "Free Guy" that came out fairly recently?  This NFL season after seeing that could make a humble and inquisitive person wonder, lol.
